I’ve had rotator cuff/serratus/scap winging before, what is the state of your injury?

Go see a physiotherapist. Depending on the degree of injury and which part of the rotator cuff (its 4 muscles) you hurt then yes there are some exercises you should avoid and some you should do that will help.

BeginnerGainz hey. Thank you for reaching out. I dont know what you mean "the state of your injury" english third language. If you mean how painful it is? I feel a stabbing pain when im sleeping in Front delt that radiates to my arms. Now i am not 100% this is a rotator cuff injury but judging from the tests and videos about it... It kinda Tells me it is a rotator cuff injury. The pain isnt that bad anymore..((( 3 days havent been lifting planning to take 5-8 days off just to return only for back Arms legs))) but i am stopping chest shoulders maybe for 1 month and return with baby weights. Do you think it is okay TO do those exercises listed above? Cause i am positive that it heals itself if i just dont train chest and shoulders for a bit

Im resting for 5 days till the pain goes away and im planning hitting back and Arms legs.. For a month before starting chest and shoulders again.. I do believe that i can do something on the gym.Without Squats or anything overhead or any wide pulling inward.. What is your take on these exercises close grip Barbellrows, t bar row, Seated v bar row, Facepulls, Barbell shrugs?

Do what air2fakie said, go to a physiotherapist, get an MRI, find out exactly what is wrong. I tore my supraspinatus before, there are also different levels of tears. You need to know why you’re dealing with. It may not be the rotator cuff muscles at all.
