Strangely, my family prefers ham over turkey. I would have rather had turkey. It's all good. I ate a small piece of ham with no seconds.
They also prefer pecan pie over pumpkin pie (WTF). That's okay, I didn't need to eat pie (sweets) anyway.

You should have you're own turkey day then, that's wife and I are doing over the weekend.
I'm related to a bunch of "half-lefty" health kooks, can't even have a tasty meal one day outta the year.
Ours (this weekend) will be smothered in tasty butters and natural turkey skins, fats, stuffings, and dark meat.
