Need some advice on free agent pickup. Will Fuller is available. League does auction based waiver and cap is $100. I so happen to have my entire $100 left to spend the rest of the year. Next closest is $46 so a $47 bid he is mine.

I already have Hopkins, Julio, & Allen Robinson as my starters so im not exactly hurting for a WR. Just dont want anyone else to get him but not sure if i want to spend $47 to get him. I have purposedly save my $ for something like this.

Yay or Nay?

I would drop either Cory Davis or Curtis Samuel

Even if you put $47 on him you can still outbid anybody else on another player later.

I'd say go for it. FAAB becomes pretty worthless the later you get in the season. I spent 2/3 of mine in the first few weeks and it helped me lock down players like Chark, Terry, and Coleman who are likely going to be a few of the best WW pickups all year in that league.

What is your record? What does your team look like? Based on the next person having $46, I would pick up Fuller and hold him for depth or let him go off again and try and trade him for a top tier RB or TE or whatever your team really needs. Doing that still leaves you with $53 which is still more than the next person.

I would suggest picking him up because if he stays healthy and Hopkins goes down, it's plug and play.

Im 4-1. Only match i lost was when i started Brees the game he got injured in. Lost by 10

The guy who has the 2nd most money has a ton of 3rd tier WRs so he may go after him.

I put in my bid of $47. Maybe i can trade him or Robinson for a top RB.

I think picking up Fuller is the right move. Get him and try and trade him for better, more consistent players.

Thoughts on my team:

QB - Ryan
RB - Kamara, Gordon, Coleman, Mixon, Montgomery
WR - Evans, Diggs, Fuller, Sutton, Chark Jr, J Brown
TE - Engram
K - Slye
D - LAC/streaming

Bit rough starting out with Gordon and Coleman out and Evans playing like crap, but hope to be in it at the end of the season.

You’ve got sort of a boom or bust team there. Several guys that could score 3 or 30. Means a lot of ups and downs and luck of the draw on your weekly matchup.

I'd keep in this order

Drake
Penny
Brown
Murray
Edmonds

It’s a deep bench keeper league, so there are always a couple handcuffs late season that end up swinging the league heavily

But how do you rate the guy who’s starter is already hurt, last?

Because they are a bad team, he's not a dynamic player himself, and he would be a desperation start in fantasy even if he were starting for them. In other words, if Carson or Gurley went down, I would not hesitate at all to start Penny or Brown, but if DJ got hurt, would you really want to have to have Edmonds in your starting lineup? Probably not.

Right now, he's not supposed to, but back issues are something that can both linger and get aggravated, so there is definitely a non-zero chance he will miss some games from it at some point during the season.

I'd go Witten probably. He is at least a semi consistent part of the offense.

Currently have the panthers D. My other options got picked up so now I’m stuck with them or I can pick up the redskins against Miami or the broncos against Tennessee. The skins are tempting but they are almost as bad as Miami so it’s a big risk.

I am not on board with the Skin's either. Both teams are equally bad. Miami is due to actually score, and this would be a good week for it. Panthers are probably a better bet, you don't know which Mariota version is going to show up Sunday.

What did you bid for Everett? I'm in the same boat, but our FAAB waivers are tonight, so I have to make my bid today. I rostered Herndon for $1 last week, too, so I have him as a backup plan as well.

I bid $6 for him in one league, didn't get him. 2 other bids were $7 and $20. In another league, I bid $7 for him and got him, the only other bid was for $0.

I bid $9 lost him to $11. But this person had OJ Howard and has been struggling. Others may not bid that high.
