I saw that a few days ago. When I saw they signed him this year I knew he'd miss a lot of time. It wasn't really talked about, but in some interviews early in camp you could tell there was still definitely some concern that his foot had not healed from last year still.
As far as Davante, to be expected. I don't see him playing next week either. These games aren't important enough to lose him for the postseason.

Packers receivers, aside from Adams, have to be the worst bunch in the NFL. MVS is a deep threat and little else. Kumerow is below average, shepard will be lucky if he still has a job this week. Geronimo is mediocre. Lazard flashed a little potential and hopefully he gets some more snaps.
EQ would have been one to watch, but he is on IR. So is our new TE.
That's what you get when you focus on rebuilding your defense for a decade. Packers really need to bring in a veteran receiver to pair with adams, and let the battle for #3 sort itself out with what we have on our roster. We desperately need an infusion of talent at TE as well.

Yup. You know times are tough when we're in a 3 WR set with Kumerow, Shepherd, and Lazard on the field.
I've been a big fan of Lazard since last year so I'm elated Aaron told the coaches to put him in. I never understood all the Shepherd/Kumerow hype. They're both terrible.
If we weren't down to Crumbs in the WR core I'd assume Shepherd would be sent packing after that atrocious outting.

? We signed Ryan Grant yesterday and Sternberger is designated to return/practicing. I think if we're going to make a bigger-name trade much closer to the deadline if/when it does happen. Teams will be more desperate, and a few teams on the fence right now will have a better idea if they're season is ****ed or not (Broncos for example)
