One thing I like about Fringe is they have some pretty sweet end caps. Shipping on the other hand needs some work for sure.

I got the lone star in yesterday, and I have to say, the knurl is pretty sweet. Don’t love the zinc by any means, but it looks like a really nice bar out of the box.
They also improved the packaging majorly.
Can someone help me with an embed? Posting from mobile.

400 is a lot for a duffalo Cline considering when he has those blemish sales they go for around 400 for the real deal. People need to get these price points down pat same as black widow let internet fame go to his head and jacked up his prices by almost half these past few years where he’s outpeicing rogue and elite for his handmade stuff....the price on that new buffalo needs to be 250 shipped to tickle my fancy

I agree with you that they have the price a bit high for these Buff/Duff clones, but I've been saying for a while now that $325 seems to be the price people will spend on one of these bars. If you look at this from the producers standpoint, these bars are way too niche to produce it at a quantity that really brings the price down like say a standard barbell.

These all look to be the same manufacturer for these buffalo bars, the ones from Vulcan and the ones offered by Iron Company. In speaking with Iron Company they confirmed that they are all from the same american manufacturer but did not disclose who they were.

I wouldn't read too much into the 'excellent spin' thing. I lifted with it this morning, and it's very similar to other power bars in that regard. I quite liked it on deadlifts, but I'm not crazy about the zinc. I was having to chalk up much sooner than normal. The end caps are SO much better than their other power bar. I'm not sure if they ever changed that or not on the other bar, but they were terrible.
IMO, this bar is better than their 29mm PB offering.

My Longhorn bar should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to see how it does. Only bar I have to compare it to is the Rep SS power bar. Hopefully the knurl is little more aggressive than the Rep.
Being that there aren't a ton of options for this type of bar, it seems there are more now than ever. I didn't want to drop Kabuki money but also didn't want Titan Fitness either.

Got to use the Longhorn Bar today. Very sweet for the $$$. Knurling is very nice, clean starts and stops, sticks to you well but doesn't rash you up, has a good looking finish on it as well. I'm digging the wide knurl on the center of the bar as well.
Ever so slight amount of play in the sleeves from side to side. Less than an 1/8". Not noticeable when weight is on the bar either.
Would love to see smooth sleeves and a couple different finishes, but it's awesome its made in the USA and is middle of the road priced.

The Dufallo is not advertised on the web site as available in bare steel. Too many people were complaining, wanting refunds due to rusting.
I emailed kabuki, explaining my enormous preference for bare steel, and I’d put in writing I’d never ask for a refund due to rusting. They will sell a bar in bare steel. It’s just not advertised.
I only lift with bare bars. They just feel so nice. And I actually like how they “age”.
