not sure what you're referring to..theres aren't any ss cuts in the OP. An ss cut is a high 0 fade with long hair slicked back

Used to rock that fuk boi haircut with a bald taper up and the hard part on the side. The reaper has been coming for me slowly the last couple of years so right now Im going with the "high and tight" posted earlier due to overall thinness up top. Im guessing in the next 1-3 years Ill be going razor shaved. Sucks but middle eastern genetics allow for an alpha beard so it shouldn't be too bad

Longer than #2 doesn't work for me anymore.

In winter I go for max #5 on top and #3 on sides.

Summer is 1-2. Either by myself or the barber. Barber does better job with neck and shaving the edges. And for £6 and 15min that's ok.

I don't like very short; can be too many hard edges. I don't even have my hair cut using clippers these days; just scissors. I have that very fine straight Russian hair which looks like a hedgehog if it's too short.

Do you guys actually describe the haircut you want to your barber? I just show a picture and ask him to do exactly what he sees, much faster and the results are actually what I want

depends on the barber tbh. i've done that several times and the barber is just like ok ok and does whatever he or she wants. brb show picture of crew cut. brb get a buzzcut instead.

Good God, this! Trying to describe a haircut, however simple, to a barber or stylist is a surefire path to regret.

Me - I just want a regular fade with a 1 on the sides and back and keep it longer on top. That way I can put some product in it and style it.
Stylist - cuts hair....How does that look? Do you want any gel or anything in it?
