I'm fully recovered I think but sometimes I still have that minor breathing problem. Other than that I am doing pretty good. Had many boring meetings this morning. Guess what? I finally able to conventional deadlift one rep at 200 using neutral grip (no mixed grip). That is my new PR and more than what I did before back surgery. So happy.

How's your day going? Did it rain in your area today? Mine did in the morning.

In large tech companies, there are always areas/product lines that offer less stress than their peers. For example, legacy successful products that have been around for a long time and make a ton of money, and yet don't change/innovate much year to year. That's an example of areas to look into for jobs that may pay more and yet come with better work/life balance. Conversely, going into any area that is on the cutting-edge or in a very competitive market can be rewarding professionally, but may come with a cost in stress.

Switching gears, we liked Endgame. Hard to compare it to Infinity War since the two movies are so different. I feel that there are a few character arcs that Endgame could have resolved better, but overall I really liked it. I was able to sit through two viewings on consecutive days without getting bored

Thank you! I am just taking squats and deadlifts very slowly each time. Not rushing anything. I am very lucky that I can still do deadlifts after the surgery so very proud of myself. Well your back still hurts so no need to do deadlifts. I think we agree that the back is more important than some lifting numbers.

My parents live there since their businesses are over there, i might also consider going back sometimes later if I wanna build a business (Hard to be rich in the US, yeah sure you can get a decent paying job but I think as long as you work for other people/company you'll never truly be rich, it is also insanely difficult to build a lucrative business here much easier back in Asia). How bout you?

Especially, social life wise, I had way more real friends. I'd even go out and say the nightlife in Asia is way better. Srs. US nightlife scene is nothing compared to some major cities in Asia now. In terms of dating I had way more success too, in my experience nothing is worse than being an Asian men in North America or other Anglo Saxon (Western European countries or countries with western European origin e.g, Australia, Canada) countries.

Every time I went home which I did once or twice every year, my tinder matches started blowing up, or if I visit other Asian countries or Eastern European countries. Back then in high school before I moved to the US, girls literally flocked to me and I miss it greatly. Here in the US, I barely get Tinder matches or much attention from pretty girls.

In terms of financial, it can be bad if you don't have a solid business or at least a business plan. Because you don't really make as much as in here if you work for a company.

So, yeah brah living in Asia is not bad at all. I have been in the US for like 6 years and I honestly can't wait to get back till I am done collecting US job experience here.

I'm thinking of watching in the theatre but I have a high expectation now since Endgame is done. Hopefully it will lead to something else bigger than Endgame like a new villian. Who do you think will be the next villian?

Hosum is the oldest to me since I am a baby. He is like the granpa to us, but he is a balling granpa. He has been busy vacationing and all the regulars hardly post or stopped posting on here. The forum is not like what it used to be.

Tricep still not normal and I don't think it will be normal again. The MRI shows is not a tear, the only explaination that I can come up with is the tendon has been stretch so it doesn't feel right.

Cool I actually went to HK very often. My Uncle and Cousins live in HK. I ****ing love the Skyline, oh god so beautiful. I just love the pace of the city and being surrounded by tall buildings.

The people are a tad rude tho, especially if you try to Speak Mandarin. I guess they often associate Mandarin with Mainland Chinese which they hate lol. And since I couldn't speak Cantonese, I just spoke English when I was there, and they loved my accent. But then it is also weird because people there understand Mandarin better than English lol.

i lived in ca for many years and eventually escaped. youre right that the immediate seattle area is similar to ca because of all the idiotic liberals, the greater seattle tacoma area is better than ca because you can still buy a nice house for a decent price, and the value is rising higher than other areas, so its a good investment.

I live in Seattle area, Washington. Lmao, it is prolly no different than here in terms of those. I also lived in Midwest, it sucks major ass.

Cool I actually went to HK very often. My Uncle and Cousins live in HK. I ****ing love the Skyline, oh god so beautiful. I just love the pace of the city and being surrounded by tall buildings.

The people are a tad rude tho, especially if you try to Speak Mandarin. I guess they often associate Mandarin with Mainland Chinese which they hate lol. And since I couldn't speak Cantonese, I just spoke English when I was there, and they loved my accent. But then it is also weird because people there understand Mandarin better than English lol.

Fk yeah, HK people are rude as fuk. Couldn't stand Hong Kongese hating on mainland. They all came from the mainland. I understand the political side of it but they reall discriminate the mainlanders.

i lived in ca for many years and eventually escaped. youre right that the immediate seattle area is similar to ca because of all the idiotic liberals, the greater seattle tacoma area is better than ca because you can still buy a nice house for a decent price, and the value is rising higher than other areas, so its a good investment.

washington still has gun rights too, although they are trying to change that...

I heard Oregon still have some nice affordable home prices.
