As far as body composition it won't effect anything as long as you are hitting your macros. You might find your self dragging a bit around/after lunch but the more you work this schedule and eat on the routine the more acclimated you'll become to it. Some people do intermittent fasting which is a 16 hour fasting period and have no adverse affects to their goals.

yes it affects your cut because they play a part in the process as well.
also, there are mixed answers on consuming all of your protein at one time. Some feel you can't, thus leading to not hitting your numbers. A study I read not too long ago suggested to space out your protein intake for best results. Something to keep in mind.NC Crew

Some people do what you do and take it even further by not even eating breakfast. Check out OMAD (One meal a day). This is basically extreme intermittent fasting where you only eat for 1 hour a day, basically one large meal and fast for 23 hours.
You could consider skipping breakfast and only eating at night.

Protein spacing is proven relevant. That is the prime reason I don't recommend extensive fasts, especially for lean people.... for obese ones it's a different story IMO.
I guess IF is still fine for most people as one can space out protein 3 times in a 8 hour window with 4 hours in between... which isn't that far from optimal.~ Feel free to PM me if you have any questions ~

Fasting has basically turned into a religion... it's really weird to me. BRB I don't sometimes... woop dee doo....
Eat when you can, ideally multiple times a day if you want to maximize anabolism. If you literally can't, then fine, that's your life... you won't die from it, you just won't be doing the optimal approach.
Any arbitrary window you decide to follow is your own choice... I'd prefer to just eat when I feel like it thus avoiding any mental focus on it at all. If I get hungry, then OK.. i'll eat a meal."When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

Lol its just called “time that just so happens to be between meals”. Or TTJSHTBBM for the people who need to have some trendy diet based on an acronym. I have been eating lunch around 11AM-12 noon and dinner around 6-7 PM for 20 some odd years, and like the other 99% of people who do this, my muscles haven’t fallen off yet.

Well! as well the consumption does you may reaching your calories goal, I believe it not considered good for eating that much it short period of time with break-in between, but for the short period it doesn't affect as much, is actually bring some effect to your body (Search Ramazan on Google) its Muslim Holy Month where they fast more then 7hours a day for 30 days search for benefits that may be the best resource you'll get....
