If I am being 100% with you I started volunteering with this baseball league for kids with downs, autism, MS, etc. You name it and these kids have it.

I wouldn't say the investigation came away with nothing. There were several people charged, some of whom plead guilty to crimes. We are also better informed on a couple of things.

For one, while the crime of collusion wasn't found, and Trump's efforts to thwart the investigation didn't rise to the level of criminal behavior, his behavior was unethical and without smart people standing up to him and telling him no, some of whom have since been sacked, he might have actually committed a crime. For a politician that in and of itself is not particularly remarkable, but for one who had promised to "drain the swamp" of corrupt politicians, a catch-phrase he can no longer use, it's not going to help him win over many new voters.

And we are more aware of how much activity Russia had on social media spreading misinformation in support of Trump that I have no doubt found its way on to this forum. The question remains how we are going to deal with it, and will Trump be able to beat a serious challenger without that sort of help?

Clean from a sense of outright crime, yes, if they found anything it would have been leaked or used against him to impeach if dirty enough.

Clean from a personal sense, maybe but only if you compare him to the low-hanging fruit of the morality of the typical politician, which is to say not really.

I don't dislike Trump on that level at all, who am I to judge anyone, but he's shown himself to be a poor husband on multiple occasions and he is absolutely obsessed with wealth and success. His personal taste is also quite gaudy. I'd rate him below average (or, if you don't have much faith in humanity, flawed but average).

However, compared to men and women like Obama, the Clintons, the Bushes, Kennedy family and such, meh, he's nothing -- quite admirable, even. Nothing suggests he's murdering people left and right to sell Trump steaks or market his brands. He isn't cheating on his wife, getting drunk and instead of trying to save his mistresses life calling his lawyer for 6 hours or anything. So, compared to those guys, he's not so bad.
