Looked the same. But the MUSIC improved 1000-fold in the epilogue. The game never went "BIG" with it's soundtrack, it was way too reserved.

The music wasn't bad, it just seemed underwhelming compared to the glory of the first soundtrack. Every so often there was bits of greatness, then it just kinda went generic. Like, the bank mission. When they're hiding on the roofs and ducking down, there's like a guitar melody that plays, it's awesome. Too bad it's the only memorable section in the song.

You're in St Denis, and there's no cajun vibe? Left 4 Dead 2 did bayou music right. They really dropped the ball on the soundtrack in RDR 2, IMO.

The BEST music was Chapter 6 on. Chapter 6 was really trippy music, it went extremely well with (SPOILER)lung disease Arthur.(/SPOILER) But the rest was either bland or sparingly memorable.

and the part where he talks about dutch. it's clear dutch was a great leader in the past. i want to see the younger dutch so bad. rdr3 c'mon

i can sort of figure out the timeline where dutch started losing himself. colm kills his lover, then he finds out his mom died just a few months before the blackwater heist and then the blackwater heist goes wrong and he killed that girl.

100%. All the manure shoveling and fence building is great for the impact of the story. Can't wait for the RDR HD remaster DLC so I can play through the entirety of both games as one giant story.

That's when you move into the epilogue and then into online. Online is a ton of fun and like a whole new campaign.

I’d probably save the Blackwater stuff for the 3rd game if they do it. If they actually gave us RDR1, I’d be fine with that being it as far as dlc goes. That would be way more than I expected.

RDR 3 should be different characters in a different spot of the country entirely in a different time. Something like 30 or 40 years back. They've already done "The era of gunslingers is over" shtick twice. Let's see the era of gunslingers in it's prime.

I think the glory days of the gang should be something like Lost and the Damned / Ballad of Gay Tony. They don't even have to set it all at one time, it could be "play as Dutch" and the missions are finding each member of the game as they told around the campfire.

It sucks these games take 8 years of development time.

They could do that with the same guys. You could play as one of the Callander brothers (who die before the events of RDR2). Set it 10-20 years ago when most of the gang members we’re familiar with weren’t around yet but they get recruited over the course of the game. The main story could end with Blackwater and we could take over as Arthur for the epilogue and set up RDR2.

That’s just what I’d want. I like how it’s one long story.

I took a train (paid for ticket) and rode from Rhodes to St. Denis on top of a train car and became instantly wanted on lockdown in both towns. Not to mention my horse was stuck in West Elizabeth. Had to dodge gators and bounty hunters the whole way, about 3/4s anyway, on foot. Took an hour and a half.
