Weight classes are literally part of the sport of boxing and are literally part of what makes the sport what it is.

If the arguement was "Who was the greatest fighter of all time that could beat any other fighter", perhaps then, your argument MIGHT hold merit.

But this is about who is dominating the sport. Mayweather is dominating the sport. He dominates the sport so well that it makes fighters from outside the sport want to try to box.

I don't see Connor McGregor getting out there and going "Let me out swim Michael Phelps" or Anthony Joshua going "Hey, let me skate against Tony Hawk."
