why are you comparing apples and oranges?
You aren't saying best sportsman. You are saying best person in each sport. No way some 150lb manlet is the best boxer ever. Just lol. He couldn't beat the average 200lbs guy walking down the street much less a professional heavyweight.Motorcycle crew

This plus Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker and you can end the thread. Ali also has to be in the mix.
MMA Id go Cro Cop, GSP and Jon Jones. I honestly believe heavyweight fighting has to be treated as a different creature than middle weights and lightweights. People like Floyd are an absolute pussy compared to someone like Cro Cop who broke Bob Sapps orbital eye socket bone and nunerous bones in Schaubs face to the point he neededreconstructive surgery. You cant compare a class where guys like Don Frye are whooping the fuking **** out of people to fairy weight classes where its a lot of dancing and wrestlefuking.
If you said Michael Phelps just come out already its 2019

Several really...
Babe Ruth - dominated the 1920's as a hitter, was also a HOF caliber pitcher, won a chit ton of World Series
Prime Mike Tyson - best I've ever seen, the fact he was a heavyweight makes him even more badass
Wayne Gretzky - 1980 to 1985 he changed the game of hockey, only flaw was he couldn't fight
Wilt Chamberlain* - stats were ridiculous but played against a bunch of 5'10 jewish white guys and Russell was winning all the championshipsBoston sports crew

Ex-Howard Stern crew
1974 crew

Don’t know who told you that but it’s pish.
Tiger was never the longest and there is very little fairway bunkering at Augusta that is in play. All courses have got longer over the last two decades as equipment and fitness has gone up. They weren’t trying to stop tiger winning at all.2023 bertie awards 2024 nominations

"When it comes to matters of the heart always follow your dick"
Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.

Michael Phelps
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Welp you just proved your opinion was invalid in less than 250 words.
At least you're getting a little closer...
Still not true, though. And still not a refutation of the fact that he is dominating the sport of boxing.
For anyone that still doesn't get why the weight class thing doesn't make sense;
Read carefully: boxing is a sport in which weight classes are a part of.
Read carefully: boxing is not street fighting.
Weight classes are a PART of the sport, just like kicking/tackling/elbowing is NOT PART of the sport.
He is a sportsman participating in the sport of boxing under a subset of rules in which he excels.
Under the confines of a boxing ruleset, Floyd Mayweather is dominating.
He is not the best golfer, street fighter, nascar driver... He is currently the most dominant BOXER.
But if you wanna say he'd get beaten in an MMA fight, fair game. He isn't an MMA fighter. I'm certain McGregor or Tenshin would win in a non-boxing setting, because it's not boxing.Last edited by TypeNirvash; 01-05-2019 at 07:51 PM.
