It doesn't get any more old school than Deathstroke and myself. We've been around since the formation of the MMA forum (and many years prior to that in my case, at least). CGC is a moderator int his section now. He used to post in these Clinch posts for many years.

But those other guys like ClarkKent and the Olympic lifter whose name escapes me (real name Jay), and that weird guy from Aruba seem to have moved on.

Brock's hand being raised after his comeback win over Hunt was too short-lived. He wants to go out on a big win over a top name still.

Also i believe Brock has earned the respect of most the hardcore MMA fans. Real fans accepted him when he proved he belonged, unlike Punk who looked out of place in the sport. Basically Brock is still good, I don't know if his stock has gone way down, I guess the PPV buys will tell us later. The WWE chit is old, the pissing hot chit you cannot really flame him for that anymore. Jon Jones being the face of UFC and all.

Wait, most MMA fnatics are going to pay to see Brock fight anyone in 2019, but they don't GAF about him selling PPV's and making UFC big money? More will watch him than any fighter right? Maybe not Conor or Jones though who knows. But people will always care about Brock in UFC whether they cheer or boo him. They will never miss him fighting.

Also I don't think he's technically among the top HW's ever.. He doesn't act like a fool ala Jones, Tito, Chael, Conor, etc. But he has charisma and always was a true specimen. He IS a great athlete and a once in a lifetime find in WWE. He's a perfect monster in pro wrestling, not because he's just big, but because he's so good in the ring. He's explosive, he's as powerful as an oxe, he's deceptively quick as a cat, he can wrestle any style. Basically if you watched his matches (and many itt haven't) you'll see he's perfect for pro wrestling.

But he's not an all time great fighter when the cage door closes. But he did far better than even I expected him to do in it.
