I realize the article is wrong about it being a bodybuilding show (it was men's physique) and him starting at 0% bodyfat. That out of the way, there are lots of transformation stories of people losing a lot of fat but this is the opposite where a guy with cystic fibrosis (most of the patients with this are quite thin and have a very difficult time absorbing enough nutrients to maintain good health) gaining a fantastic 40+ pounds in 8 months.
