The new zx6r is pretty sexy. Anybody else keeping up with all the new info from the AIMEXPO? I'm really looking forward to the EICMA too!

That BMW will be mean as fuk especially if they put it on a diet.
New 6R is just minor improvements. 600 class is dying which sucks.

2005 DRZ400sm $19 /month full coverage
2007 GSXR 750 $27 /month liability (something like that IDR exactly what they just quoted)
Trade 1000rr for GSXR 750.. immediately replace stator/rectifier. Still not running. Another buddy came over the other day and determined I have a bad stater. Shop said OEM would be like $500. GTFO aftermarket was $110. Not even sure I'm keeping the bike, so not putting that kind of money into it. Ordered new plugs, starter, and new thermostat. Hopefully I'll be GTG after that.Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

Kbmotors48 on eBay
I buy all oem from him. Stator was like 40 bucks if I recall I think. He repos and gets wrecked bikes and parts them, great deals; never had a bad part from him.
If that isn’t his correct name I will check eBay when I’m home. Have had full fairing mint from him for like 300 bucks vs 2000 from oem place. Not a scuff on them.
Think this is it
https://www.ebay.com/str/kbmotors48/
Just call his ass. There’s contact info somewhere
Weird. His stores empty, shoot him a message see if he’s still selling parts. Guy is genuine. Maybe he is out the business now though. It’s been a year since I needed parts
From this page looks like he’s sold stuff in last month
https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...e&interval=365
All the parts I got from him was immaculate and brand new basically. Half the bikes he gets are low mileage but he test all parts he sells.Last edited by FreedomPenguin; 10-13-2018 at 01:32 PM.

Ended up being a bad stater motor on the 750. Got that fixed. Order new filters, oil, and coolant that will all be here by Thursday. Change the filters and oil, flush the coolant, rewire the fan like it was meant to be and it'll be a new bike. Only $750 in.... Unfortunately, I likely have a spare rectifier and stator if needed for the future that wasn't bad. hah

Specs on the R version Panigale V4 are insane, wonder the price dough.
Liking the new Triumph Speed Twin as well, wish they had inverted forks though.rumpler of stiltskins

Front is kind of goofy looking but enough upgrades to make it worth while.
I'll wait a year or two for a second hander.

man. i had a strong feeling that one of my rotors was bent along time ago. i felt it was the left one. i did get a set stand recently and just used it on the front to see. shet was bent all this time. the right one was fine. without gassing i would get a chug every few moments, like it just didnt like low low rpm's. it goes 6mph without gassing in first. the dam rotor was rubbing the brakes at a certain point. i spun the wheel when the front was lifted and it didnt even get half a turn in freely. i was getting 31 mpg tops. and the lowest fuelly report on my cbr600rr was 35mpg. i bent that shet back out as carefully as i could as true as a could. put it all back in place and spun it freely for a good few turns.
thanks for reading.
----edit-----
it was much better. didnt chug and scooting along 7 mph like a champ. braking and didnt feel any pulsing at <25 mph. im super goochie if i dont feel the pulsing at higher speeds. previous owning put a scotts damper on it. im sure they thought the steering was fooked or something along the line, since it pulsed hard braking at upper speeds. now im just wondering on the mpg's
----edit----
i do feel some brake pulse still at higher speed. ripLast edited by bee su; 11-09-2018 at 10:50 AM.
