Not into BB anymore but it did inspire me once upon a time so it’s sad to see an Olympia thread here with only 2 pages. Just posting to help thread and see if flex or anyone still does their pic photo dumps.

Also, ifbb and Phil Heath have destroyed what was already a corrupt sport.

Shawn Rhoden should take it. I'm so tired of this stupid "you have to dethrone the reigning champ" argument. The difference between physiques at the top end is so minuscule that its absurd to expect the #2 guy to just blow away the reigning champion in order to win. Phil Heath is off once again this year, so once again all you are doing is rewarding him for not looking his best under the guise that the #2 guy "didn't do enough". Can they for once make him work for it? Shawn Rhoden looks better and he is in better shape: he is the winner.

Can you imagine if they tried to hold the same competition in Columbus, Ohio or a similar city? Without the flashing lights of Vegas I don't think they would have enough true enthusiasts to fill a conference room at the Marriott. Still angry I stayed up until after 1:00am for that, I'll wait for Nick's Strength and Power overview for the final results.

Rhoden's physique is so aesthetic. Do you think he is naturally an ectomorph? If you look at his wrists and knees, he has very small joints. That's what probably gives him that crazy v-taper and enormous looking quads.

A classic physique in the open division. Aesthetics and size, what a great combo. Good clean lines.

Rhoden looks fantastic and is winning from the front and side for me. Phil wins the back shots and will undoubtedly take the title even if Shawn is better overall

Shanique Grand won women’s physique. I called it after she won the ny pro in 16 and damn. She has the best genetics out of any competitor, male or female, ever. That’s a huge claim and I strongly stand by it

And since buendia got 4th, I think the judges are open to champs losing tonight. Apparently inside sources are saying Shawn is ahead after prejudging

He's called big ramy for a reason. might even have the same conditioning this year but the judges aren't having it. phil/roelly/rhoden/bonac all bring way better conditioning than him. the added size doesn't matter when you have people like rhoden with glutes with striations deeper than the grand canyon setting this year's standard

Watching the Iherb 212 replay, man even the commentators seem bored with the sport. It boggles my mind how greedy and money grabbing the IFBB is, oh wait no it doesn't, they've always done this.

You have the invention of all these bull**** fitness model and camwhore divisions, bringing ****loads more money into the sport and entry fee's and supporting tanning and makeup, more coaches, more media than ever before, and the IFBB just runs things at the absolute minimum to maximize profits.

Looking at the pics, Phil will 100% win, there is no doubt, the only way they would give Rhoden the win is to create controversy for a year to get more ticket sales lol

I don't know how Rami can come in too heavy for 4 years in a row, Whatever weight he says he's coming in at he needs to be at least 15-20lbs lighter lol.
