Crypto also on the rise too, btc back to 8.3K looks like it might hit over 10k possibly soon
AMZN, NFLX, and a few other tech stocks are still going to go up
I'm calling good earnings for AMZN on thursday even though their prime day fuked up
And NFLX should pop back to where it was within next month

Anyone know anything about Albertson's stock value? Apparently the deal with RAD would value shares of Albertsons at around $23 dollars a share. I don't particularly care what the value is, but moreso wondering how RAD share value will look after the vote or leading up to the vote. I'm holding options for the week after that, but trying to decide if there is any merit to the stock going over $2. Right now it is looking more and more like no. I might have to just eat some crow and dump my options...

Who cares. Fade the open and buy slight OTM calls for friday from wherever it opens. It will go up $10 bucks probz from the low unless the earnings were really that awful. I'll have to look tonight before I decide for tomorrow. Essentially the same strategy I pulled with netflix a little bit back. This time I won't pull the plug early.

FB always tanks after earnings/conference call especially. Always bounces back immediately.

Netflix only missed on subscriber counts but revenues and other crap looked fairly healthy.
FB missed on just about everything and lowered guidance for next few quarters
chits down like 20%+, looks pretty serious. i guess BTD till it doesn't work

Exactly. The second it opens I'm moving in on calls.
The concern could be though that this triggers a tech selloff as institutional investors take this as a sign this is the top as companies are no longer meeting their expectations. Depending on how the rest of the market reacts tomorrow I might open deeper OTM netflix puts so I get a piece of the action regardless of which way we go.
This is why I like options though. I don't get stuck holding thousands of dollars worth of stock to potentially make 5-10%Fitness connoisseur

bought fb 180 calls. And ofc right out of the bag TDameritrade is nonfunctional(tried to sell at 4.50). Bought 3.80 and their system is down. I can't move in or out so I'm just stuck on the ride. Hopefully this turns out well.
out at 3.50. Calls aren't the place to be today in tech. Shoulda bought amazon or netflix puts to offset, but wasn't focused enough on those.Last edited by RobParks2M; 07-26-2018 at 06:56 AM.

Good luck. I'd have held the 180s but I'm out biking all weekend and wouldn't have internet at my campsite so I wouldn't be about to exit tomorrow . Was tempting to hop into next friday calls or next month calls that are fairly deep, but I'm getting the feeling we reached the tipping point where companies can no longer match expectations and we see a decent pullback or at least a long term consolidation.

Any canadian brahs invest in alot of canadian banks? They offer high dividends and look like a really safe investment longterm
im new to investing but love the idea of dividends and looking for some good safe ones early on
Also was thinking of investing in Chartwell retirement residences, their growth has been pretty bad last few years but they are almost guaranteed to blow up with the baby boomers right?
Also might put 5k on various green stuff stocks, they have really blown up last few yearsNHL Team - Ottawa Senators

I havent invested in any canadian banks (i'm canadian). Only bank i am in right now is Wells Fargo . I'd love to own JPMorgan but the price isn't right , right now.
Only canadian stock i own is Brookfield Property Management (bpy.un) . great real estate stock , one of the biggest companies in the world (NOT A REIT), that is about 5x cheaper than it should be right now.
i wouldn't personally invest in weed stocks if that is what you mean by green.. The valuations are too outrageous and too volatile for me right now. I'm sure there wil be a couple of clear winners but who knows who.6'3'' 220lbs, 10% bf

I will run.Period.You may be more talented than me, you may be smarter than me and all those things, but if we get on the treadmill, your goin to get off first or Im goin to die. Its that simple. The commodity that I see in most people that arent getting to the places they want or arent achieving the things they want is strictly based on hustle, based on being outworked, strictly based on missing the right opportunities.
