19 and below average Testosterone? Confused.

    Hi

recently I got my blood results back, and my testosterone came out as 11 nmol/l. The doctor says that the normal range is between 10nmol/l - 33nmol/l

He says that I am still in the normal range and I dont have to worry, but when I read up online it said that the mean testosterone for guys around my age or in 20s is 18nmol/l.

Should I be concerned? I won't use this as an excuse to not lift, but its not a good feeling to be on the low "normal" range.

Is this good enough or should I consider TRT? Or should I just boost it naturally via natural testosterone boosters?

    Thanks

Hit legs, they help boost testosterone levels. I feel like it's too early for u to start considering alternative options because it's not even below the range. Do u notice some differences in your body? cause you shouldn't. Keep lifting, in general it's beneficial for u

I've been training for 2 years and yes I do hit legs, and yes I've been making gains.

But the thing that pisses me off is that I feel like im not in the normal range and just made it, whereas if I had normal range testosterone my overall performance in the gym would probably be much better.

Of course I won't use this as an excuse, but at the same time I want to boost it, I really doubt for 11nmol/l is normal.

Ya... lifting legs doesn’t have an impact on testosterone over what will normally occur during exercise.

OP, if you’re concerned you should speak to your physician or an endo. Asking a forum of teenagers who are clueless isn’t a smart option.

Yeah, you'll need to speak to a professional. The best we can do is make half-assed guesses.

Pretty sure all natural test boosters are a scam.

Are you under stress? That can be a major factor with low testosterone. Being overweight can is well. Also, if you were a late bloomer your testosterone levele may not have peaked yet.

Legs are the biggest muscle groups and doing squats do raise testosterone levels drastically. I'm just recycling information that I've seen all over the web

No. Very slight raise, levels return to normal in under 30 minutes. Your online sources are inaccurate broscience.

Your entitled to your opinion, however my point (facts) stands. Transient increases in testosterone, especially within normal ranges, does almost nothing.

Wtf.. no you shouldn’t consider TRT whatsoever. Think positive, eat better, train more, take vitamins, improve your lifestyle both mentally and physically. DO this for at least 6 months then go back back and get retested. TRT would be the absolute last option and should only be considered in your late 30s
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.-Philippians 4:13
