Not sure if srs. OP basically proposed a scenario where you are top 2-3% income wise in the entire country and miscers are talking like its not enough money to do anything fun with.
Even if you are taxed at 35% you are still bringing home 130K per year post tax or 10K per month. And in the proposed scenario no kids and no debt. I guarantee you 95% of this forum don't even take home 4K per month after tax.
I believe in financial sensibility but tomorrow may never come. You can't put off your happiness, hopes, and dreams for 5 or even 10 years from now.
Even if I went finance a 100K car if I made 200K per year I could easily pay it off in a year or two if I chose to do so.

nothing beats german engineering, except a Ford that is.
Henry Ford was a genius, a man ahead of his time.“Sometimes when I'm faced with an atheist, I am tempted to invite him to the greatest gourmet dinner that one could ever serve, and when we have finished eating that magnificent dinner, to ask him if he believes there's a cook.”

Sadly this is true, I tried buying one last year and the dealer wanted $100k markup just to up the list to #2 (#1 was reserved for some kind of VIP client) and there was no guarantee I'd get manual or the color I want and if I turned down the one that came I would lose the $100k.
I offered them $25k over and they told me I would be position #16

Yeah people don't know that these kinda cars appreciate in value immediately after you buy it cause of the rarity. My cousin is in the process of getting a GT3 and only reason hes able to get it is cause his friend is a VIP client with porche and hes getting it thru him. my cuz was last on the list and he had already bought 911 turbo S.

Too vague. One car or your stable?
One car - Probably a 355 F1, full restore and if I had $ left over, maintenance for the next year.
Stable:
- '89 CRX - full restore, road racing track build like the Circuit Monster CRX
- S2000 - (AP2) Again, track car (have not researched builds)
- '02-04 NSX - RealTime Racing World Challenge type build for road racing
DD - '04 TSX - Mild tune and other basic mods (wheels, tires and chit)
- Trailer (to bring cars, option wheels and tools, etc to track)
- Truck to haul trailerNo Cliffs
No Pics
