I tried CBL like 5 years ago or so. Put on like 15lbs or so (probably 60% fat) and got strong af, but this was when I first started learning how to train for strength and started squatting to depth (lol). Was only 19 at the time too.
I'm using an RP template pretty loosely right now because my weight has levelled out (was pretty strict with it before), but I generally just keep my higher carb meals around my lifts and vice versa, like a pyramid throughout the day.B. Kinesiology

On the power project today Mark let it slip that Stan has already sold 2000 copies of the ebook. Ho lee phuck. I got ahold of a copy and looks like something I would have throw together in college. it's presentable for sure, but not professional. Pretty insane to make 200k off that, I think Stan might be a genius lmao. Keep overhead to basically nothing, no editors, no graphic designers, nothing. I like him a lot but it's pretty funny considering the majority of it he's said on podcasts completely for free. Basically pay $100 for for it all organized in one place with references.
so... not good for a natty like me then?
he actually spoke about the FODMAP on the podcast he just did with Mark earlier this week.
Always LOLd when Jesse would tag those pics in his stories. Came off like he was making fun of Stan's diet in general or just havin a giggle.
it's because of a forum called the c o l i or some chit which is like a black people misc from what I understand. People were referencing it all the time for awhile and it was causing a bunch of racist chit or something on the misc so I guess they decided to censor it.
DUDE when I got into PLing in 2012 CBL/Carb Nite was all the fuking rage. When I first went to EPC everyone and their mom there was doing it. I came from a IIFYM background and thought they were all complete morons. It was funny explaining macros to some of the people there.Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

I guess one thing I have changed about my eating habits is I focus on eating mainly foods with supposedly some kind of anti-inflammatory or antioxidant properties. Most of my diet is like that now. Getting to old. Arthritis is a bitch.

I'm sure it'll work for anyone p, that's just something I noticed. It doesn't surprise me Stan has made insane money off the book. Do you know his business background? The guy is SMART. That being said I wouldn't turn my head if you sent me a copy, purely for research purposes you know- Harry Potter guy.

How have you guys switched to hook grip? I decided to stay with over under but broke my hand a few months ago and the pinky and ring finger let go with anything 475 and up. I've taken months trying to rehab it, and previously my grip wipes my biggest strength, but I can't hold on to within 150 pound of projected max. So **** it I'll try hook.
By how I mean how did you adjust your program and exercises etc.
and I have small hands so it'll take practiceA total@A body weight

That's what I was thinking. Pulling my first rep or 2 hook then strapping up. Problem is I can probably on hook 430ish and damn near all my volume is above that. I was thinking rackpull holds type a thing as well.
I never use chalk since in commercial gym life but I'll get some for hook experiments. My double over hand and hook grip are probably within 20 pounds of each other.A total@A body weight

I started hook a while ago, started with fairly light stuff and have no problems with it at all. Was doing singles only with it, and eventually started doing triples with it, no problem. All fairly light still, but that is just a product of how weak I am on the rebuild lol.
In short don't be a pussy, learn how to do hook correctly from Bruce Crabcheck's video, and start a bit lighter, maybe just to your second to last, then last warmujps etc, then hit regular volume, blah blah.
I'd also say don't "fatigue" your hook/skin, just work up and get a bit of work and practice in, but I would for sure not recommend trying to push the amount of volume that you can do with a hook grip.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

Holy chit this is like the third time we've talked about switching to hook grip in like the past ten pages.
Cliffs
1. Commit
2. Do for lower volume triples or less.
3. Some do only singles
4. Straps for volume and I like versa grips
5. Light chalk would be enough.
6. Tape and I found stretchy athletic tape > standard stiff athletic tape
7. Bar diameter should be 29mm or less. Any bigger makes hook much more difficult.
8. Commit
I strap up over triples. Double over hand when I can. Hook everything else. Use a 29mm bar. Haven't looked back.My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal

Excited to see what the WPO brings. I don't follow multiply much but Brian Carroll seems to be killing it lately with his unbelievably speedy 1000lb+ squats.
