I did rub down the plates to get some of the shine off then painted the York letters with a paint pen that is probably a little too old. I noticed that these two plates are not twins. Notice the raised 45 on the left. The lettering is slightly different. I think the letters are the same size, but the letters on the plate with the raised 45 are softer. The letter edges are more rounded than the sharper edges of the non 45 marked plate.

Never thought I would find one pair of deep dish. Recently felt grateful for the one pair, because I did not think I would find a second. They are out there as are bars. Keep looking and you will find them.

It pains me to take a day off for there is much weight to be lifted and life is short
Lifting does require weighting for results
Lifting well is the best revenge

York Plates
A friend that's a local HS coach let me look through their weight room and get any York's that might be there. So, after a 15 minute drive , I came home with
9 -45
14-25
14-10
9-5
2-2 1/2
All the 45's & 25's are milled, only one 10 is. None of the other smaller plates have any milling. I'll need to go back and look a little harder for the other 45 & 5.Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

Couldn’t leave the flipper life, or a T.B.T. Photo?
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

A lot of high schools have a wide variation of equipment , with a lot of it dating back a long time. This is the first time I've picked up anything for nothing ( of coarse there could be some future favor needed from me), some I've traded for and some I've bought if the price was decent. Well worth checking into.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

Yes, I got the plates from MUTASSIN. (I ran into these guys by chance buying from craigs). He told me to tell you “hello”. And I got the bar from ffrink. Had the pleasure of checking out a couple vintage gyms and getting an education live and in person. What a couple of days!
