Hey, All. I bring tidings of joy and chubbiness. My fitness update is in the December thread.
MissLadyJ, outstanding!
I have to pop out for now but I wanted to wish you all a really happy holiday. I’ll be going to the malls over the weekend. I love the Christmas crowds, and hopefully I’ll see Star Wars. My baby niece will be here the first week in January and I have a Disney pass so I plan to take her to all the parks.

Hey peeps nice to see the thread live again.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Looking to post this here to my (now old lol) long term LF chat family. You can read the longer story but a good friend of mine whom just gave birth to her second child, had their car hit in a hit and run while she was delivering and now they have no car. If any of you good souls could help them with anything, i, and more importantly, they, would be grateful as it was their only source of transportation.

thanks for readingThere is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

How are they doing now, Serpentarius? That’s terrible.

I hope everyone else had a great holiday.

Man i knew that stuff was BS when I was 10 back in 78, but sucker's still lining up to get some in 2018.The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Good to see a lot of you are still popping in!
The majority of my work lately has been educating people on fitness, and it’s left me 0 patience to explain it to various friends and family I haven’t heard from in forever for free #keepingitreal
Had a guy ask me the other day at work to advise him on how to reach 0% body fat :|
Managed to get the leanest of 2017 during the Holidays and have been 1 week at maintenance...doing 5 day deficit, 2 day maintenance diet starting today. Will stop once at ~20% body fat then FINALLY lean bulk.
Oh, and going to start working with Richard Hawthorne on perfecting squat, bench, deads, beginning with deads. So excited <3Last edited by missladyj; 01-07-2018 at 01:20 PM.

0% bf.
He can doo eet!!
My dr. mentioned at least 5 times in different ways on my visit when I had bronc and pneumonia that I was fat without actually saying the word fat. lol!
I told her I got it and would do something about it once I was better.
right now walking from one end of the building to the other at work leaves me light headed still.
sucks.
