I pulled the trigger on the THP's. Usually liftinglarge gets me my stuff by sat (order on Thursday cause paydays and Oregon to AZ) so I'll squat on Sunday with them up to 475 just to feel em out. Meets Saturday 23rd and 475x1 would just be a work up and easy.
At this point I just gotta go with the material I know (have THP and gold wrist wraps) and kiss my ass goodbye.
You comin down to the meet??

Oak makes a post wanting to "clarify" why him and Larry aren't doing Reebok Record Breakers. Basically says Jesse Burdick snubbed him (and Larry) by inviting other lifters in front of him at BoB to do the meet but not him.
Jesse chimes in and says he doesn't do invitational meets - they are all open so anyone is welcome to sign up. If an elite lifter like Oak contacts him he'll try and work something out so they can get on the roster. Keeps it very cordial.
Oak implies there's some other reason why him and Larry weren't openly invited but doesn't clarify.
Joe Sullivan basically tells Oak he needs to grow up and they get into it a bit with some back and forth.
Chris Bridgeford talks some chit as well.
Lots of people saying Oak went about it entirely the wrong way and should have just contacted Jesse directly rather than b!tching on social media.Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

Mostly what Adam said. All of oaks back and forth with Sullivan was deleted where oak replied. I remember oak telling joe to shut the **** up cause he didn't know the real story. Chris bridgeford wasn't really talking **** he just said oak could've handled better and that oak was a world record holder and he should start acting like it.
Didn't somebody say they wanted drama when the fam was slow? I'm just glad a can contribute since all y'all wanna talking about is dat dere equippedA total@A body weight

I was digging the Zahir and Eric drama for a couple days there.. but where do you go from 'I faking kill u materfaker, I kill u Eric'. Thankfully it died down because for a day or two they were talking chit on each others lifts and one of them challenged the other to post their next training deadlift or something and I thought great, here we go with injuries before another big meet.

I wish but can't make travel at all until the new year. I've been meaning to head down to an AZ meet for years now...
9 self wrapped? Do you have the strechiest most broken in pair of THPs ever?
While we're talking about equipped any tricks for getting a tight af squat suit off? Took me at least 15 minutes last night, was awful. Leg cuffs have gotten insanely tight. I usually try to pull the leg skin up while pulling parts of the suit down but was barely working. Probably would've helped to chalk my hands lol.

Find someone with small fingers and literally just stuff it back up there. I absolutely hate it and have seen OG vets cry actual tears from it. But once that is over, they can get the suit off much easier
What they apparently do is put the slippers back on, cram the top of the slipper back up into the leg (barely). Then they peel the suit down so basically its inverted and the only part that it is in the same place is the legs. From there you can hopefully grab a tiny bit of slipper from above the suit, then you can pull it up and push the suit down. If that is confusing this is what I was told verbatim:
"while the suit is still on, put the slippers back on and pull up the edge to meet the bottom of the suit and using your fingers, push the slipper under the suit. Continue this process until the slipper is under the edge of the suit....pull the suit down until you can see the slipper and pull the slipper through"Last edited by Torrtrefireto; 09-15-2017 at 11:20 AM.

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko
