Picked her up Mid May this year and put about 6-7000km on her this summer. Love the V-Twin but want to change it up to an R6. Gonna miss the sound of the V-Twin though. Sounds so mean under acceleration.

Yeah that's my only worry going from a sv1000 to an R6. The top speed is there in the high-end and similar but my goodness the torque on the SV...I hear people say how their 600 is like a scooter below 7k. Having torque anytime is something I will miss. Hopefully everyone is just over exaggerating on inline 4s

When I get a new job im saving for a bike Asap. I have like 2 months of driving experience, that's enough lol. Gonna take a course at my school, and around that time income tax returns start.

How much would you brahs recommend I save up as a college student? I'm guessing $3500, but that feels like a stretch

Wait, you live in the US and you have a Duke 200? WTF?

Also, that RC390 is so damned good looking. Fuark. That and the Duke 390 have got to be the best looking small displacement bikes on the market. KTM is killing the beginner bike game.
READ THIS: You know how your Visa gift cards usually end up with $0.63 left on them, so then you carry them around for months before you eventually just throw them away? Well, Tarck's here to tell you that most charities have a PayPal link on their website where you can quickly donate that balance (even if you don't have a PayPal account). It only takes a moment and it beats literally throwing money away. Thanks for your time; we now return to your regularly scheduled cuckold and FA threads.

They're pretty pricey in Australia, won't see too much of them here.
Definitely the best looking bikes IMO. Encapsulates a sort of Tron vibe and is the closest thing to a futuristic bike we have so far. The 1190 RC8 R looks even better and the sound is earth-shaking.

    These are my current bikes

71 Honda SL100. My dad bought this in 73 and drove it around our farm until the late 80s when the chain broke. It sat for 8 or 9 years until I was old enough to ride it. We fixed it but it wasn't long until the kick starter shaft broke. I took the engine apart in high school but it needed a piston and I never put it back together. I bought an engine off ebay a few years ago. I'm just gonna restore it and give it back to my dad.

I bought this SR250 in high school for $50. Traded a parts bike for a tank and seat. It runs but I need to get a title. It's been sitting in my dad's shed since high school but I just hauled it to my house

A few years ago I went to a guys house to buy an old truck bed. He had this sitting in a shed so I gave him $100 for it. Pretty sure it's a Yamaha YL1. It's a 2 cylinder 100cc 2 stroke, so it's kind of a cool old bike. It needs a title too but it's pretty complete and was cheap so I'll play with it for a little while and see if I can make some profit on it.

My 98 R1 is one of my babies. I always wanted a white and red 98 and bought this one in '04. Long story short I let a kid ride it, he wrecked it, I sold it, then bought it back in 2011, and now I'm restoring it

    What it looked like before

What it looks like now. 07 forks, brakes, and wheels, Chinese farings, but I have a factory set I'm restoring

And I've always wanted a YZ450F and I just traded a truck I wanted to get rid of for this one.

Been thru a few, Suzuki GSR550, Yamaha V-Star, and currently on a Harley Road King Classic. All are fun, but the Road King is incredible. A couple more posts and I'll be able to attach pics.

    t_raven, awesome pics man.

I have an itch to get some kind of new bike. Have a ninja250 now.
Can't decide if I should go into a 600cc supersport or maybe like a 600 or 1000 sport/touring ninja or just go with a cruiser like a yamaha vstar 950 for the long rides.
Ideally I should have multiple bikes but as of now I rent and don't have a garage lol

If you own two bikes they should compliment each other if anything. If one bike I think a good naked would be best.

35hp 2 stroke 150cc, light and narrow bike (when mirrors are removed) for extreme lane filtering and splitting, perfect for Thailand
