yep i would try and spread out through the day, would add like 80-100g simple carbs to every meal and at the end of the day i would end up with like 800 g carbs. would train at 5 am as well, so got the benefit of recovery for that days work, and glycogen for the following days work. like i said tho there was supplementation to support that and bb'ing was priority numero uno at that time. now adays i stay around 2500 calories dont do any cardio outside of walking my dogs 45 minutes a day. I still try and train hard in the gym tho. Also in on 200 grams of protein per day crew.
haha. got 'em.

I'm a nurse. Night shifts on my floor are pretty quiet usually so I barely hit 10k, but day shifts I end up walking for the majority of the 12 hrs I'm there lol

Probably TMI but how can your digestion handle that? Do you take fiber supplements?
I gained a lot of weight when I switched from a protein based diet to carb based due to a nutritionist I was seeing who said I ate too much protein at 120g a day.
Plus carbs made me hungry nonstop, so I'm switching back to more protein now. It's driving me crazy that my clothes don't fit and I'm not supposed to weigh myself or count macros in "recovery".

I have a pretty sedentary life outside of the gym. I am a stay at home dad so I don't go to work and do active things. I also live in Texas and it gets miserably hot outside. Even the pool feels like a bath tub. So, I end up staying in most of the time.
As for fiber, almost all of the carbs I eat when I am this low are full of fiber. My carbs consisted of chia seeds, walnut butter, and broc****.
I do keep Metamucil on hand when I am having stomach issues. It's almost an instant response. I should probably start taking it again when I am this low. I am only staying this low for a few days. Otherwise, my maintenance at 8% is around 2400 calories. One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.

6 days into cut, averaging about 1700 kcals a day which should be a big deficit since I think my maintainance is somewhere around 2700-3000 on average. Feeling pretty good and not lethargic or hungry so far which is good. Only doing 5 weeks of cutting so I'm trying to go for a big deficit.
Added a bunch of healthy chit to my diet that I normally wouldn't eat much of like vegetables and beans. As long as I mix it with meat and some sauce it's not bad. Funny how the healthiest foods start tasting good when you diet.Shreds > cheats

Ya I like it. Can't complain about salary, I'll never make less than 70 k , but I'll also never be rich. Most days I get to directly make someones life better, and since I have some knowledge on exercise and nutrition I've been able to give people some advice that would hopefully help them not return to the hospital (not that I fool myself into thinking they follow it). The biggest thing is that I'll never be unemployed. Even if Ontario laid off all RNs I can just go to the USA and have a full time job tomorrow, or do the paper work and I can essentially work anywhere in the world that speaks English.
Biggest reason I wouldn't suggest anyone to become a nurse is the work life balance. Brb working every other holiday, or multiple holidays in a row. Working alternating days and midnight 12 hr shifts. If I don't work over time I end up only working 7 out of 14 days, but two of those days off are basically wasted since I sleep the day away. If I was single it would suck because if I'm working 7am-7pm I don't wanna go meet a sloot and make small talk after, and if I work the next day I essentially just wanna lift and go to sleep as fast as possible.
TLDR
I like it, but I really don't think I would encourage anyone to pursue it.
Hehe, unaware. I'm guessing he's sick of douche nurses acting like they have the hardest job in the world? I agree. I actually get a lot of hate at work because I've openly told co workers that this job isn't as hard as they keep acting like it is.
It really was the goat. All time favourite moment was when someone asked him "how did you get such big delts?" and he held up a bag of skittles and shook it.Eat Right. Lift Heavy. Be a Fat Manlet.

I actually never have an issue these days I eat lots of veggies a day and fiber filled snacks and other things stuff also. Before this much protein used to be a pain lmao but I need to hit like 280+ grams now to have that issue again which i actually try avoiding unless i hit up a barbecue.
You can't be eating that much protein at 120g some people eat upt o 400g a day and are fine but those guys are even bigger than me. Too much carbs makes everyone hungry especially sugar filled ones so i try and strike a balance on a cut to always have 85g fats and 190g protein regardless of intake.
I can go without counting these days and eye ball everything but i prefer to still measure and count my macros. I used to have a massive appetite so on some occasions i could literally eat 6k calories and feel like i ate 3k especially if full of fluff like donuts, beer etc****Bringing sixy back in 2019****

Re: Cardio and Weight Loss Stall.
My weights for the past 6 weeks (averaged 4-5 days throughout the week) are something like 186, 184, 182, 181, 181, 180.5. Now, This week I have had a few weigh-ins that were pretty low, so maybe my "whoosh" is happening. But IDK. This is all new to me.
Anyway, it sounds like it's not a bad idea to take a maintenance break, which I'll do next week during my deload. I'll try to start adding in a day of cardio here and there, as I'm pretty sedentary (walk around for work but that's about it).
I'm on 220-230 grams of protein a day. Don't see much issue. I eat veggies twice a day, and usually if I have a carb-type snack it's raisin bran, so my fiber is pretty good. 30-35 grams a day I guess.Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153427731&page=1
