Hello, I am a 185 lbs 16 yr old and am curious as to what the state record for USPA is, I checked the website and logs and the state record seems really low for deadlift. It only says 445 lbs for the texas record. Does anyone know if this is correct, it seems really low.

its probably low because no one bothered to break it yet.

I think for a 16 year old 445 deadlift at 181 is a good lift. It is a master level lift. An Elite lift at the age and weight is around 483.Originally Posted by Sethfang2000

The THSPA records for 181 are 680/425/670 and the best total is 1680771/645/622 Single Ply

If only you where in a state like Kentucky. My records are a lot easier to break. I lived in Texas. EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas. But, don't ever give up or sell yourself short. Aim Big as Texas and beyond!!!
