Errybody on that manifest destiny time, but nobody got the memo we already reached the coast

srsly though, a few years ago i remember the roads would more or less be open with minimal to no traffic at all times of day around here, aside from like 7-9 AM and 4-6PM

now, there's traffic p much any time of day i go out unless it's after 8PM. brb going downtown is pretty much infeasible unless you're coordinating to drive opposite the flow of traffic, or head downtown between the hours of 11 and 1PM. anything else is just a traffic shtshow.

Also found out recently they're pushing to help build a lot more low-income housing in the immediate area I live in. All the neighborhoods around here are fkin livid they're even considering it because of the traffic, plus the area is fairly affluent and well-off with lots of elementary/middle/high schools surrounding it. Gonna be an interesting next couple of years. I always said I'd never move away from SD, basically lived here all my life, but man if this population increase isn't getting to me

I'd never leave SD brah. I can't imagine the rest of the country being any better at all. If you can afford it, I'd stay put. There's people fuuckin' everywhere, man.
