Hey guys. Had my first session with Eric Marcinizyn in LA a few days ago. He did this piece as a part of a sleeve collaboration I have going on with Eric and Noah Minuskin. Can't say enough good things about Eric... super nice and humble guy who is extremly dedicated and passionate about his work. He works pretty slow, same pace as Noah I would say. We started tattooing around 3pm, and didnt finish till 4:30am. Very excited to continue working with Eric. Here is the piece we did. Very happy with it!https://www.instagram.com/p/BRHZgO1A...rcinizyn&hl=en

Timofey Nykulshin
8 hour session, I nearly fainted about 7 hours in. We had no break, I only ate sandwich in the morning and wasn't feeling hungry. Got nauseous out of nowhere, told him I might faint, he gave me some strong spirit like substance to sniff, they got me some sugar, and we continued 10 minutes after.
Is it ammonia that they use?
Looks sick. How was the inner biceps ? I am planning to book Timofey again to do inner arm

Hahah thanks. Yea I like depictions of warriors/battle so I just went with the whole sleeve like that. Luckily he was able to make my ideas flow! I had 5 sessions and probably about 40-45 hours of tattooing done. That's without design time. I lost track about how much I paid but it was upwards of 8k or more. Worth every penny tho. So glad I did it !

Couple questions.
Any NJ guys here? Any recommendations for a tattoo artist?
I was looking at unroyal ink in wall township
General questions.
When emailing an artist what should I say ? Do I ask how much it'll be? Also do I tip? (Heard it mentioned before that some of you do)
I'm planning on getting a rooster (family nickname in Spanish "Gallo") on my thigh. It'll be my first tattoo.
Was thinking all black and dark red color. Not sure exactly how I want it. Any ideas ?Wrestler

Just email about tattoo ideas, you can ask their hourly rate or if they charge by the piece. I always tip my artist especially if I have multiple sessions with them. How can we give you an idea of how you want it if we don't know what kind of tattoos you like. Realistic, neo traditional etc. You need to narrow down the style that you like before anyone can give any input on artists etc.
