I can think of worse, but I know where you're coming from.

One family member of mine has never been on time for anything because of it, as least as far as I know. We can always count on this person being anywhere between 15 minutes to 1.5 hours late because their OCD consumes them. It's a sad reality of the disorder.

When it was effecting me, I would be about 15 minutes late for most things. You can imagine how something like that could be crippling when it comes to holding a job. Haven't been late in years (to be fair I don't have set hours nor punch a clock) but I'm a hell of a lot better than I was 10 years ago.

I would hope that their superior (or whomever they report too) is understanding enough to know of the severity of the disorder. I've had a few bosses in my day who wouldn't give two sh*ts.

It's a priority thing, it's not high up there. But **** me, if the TV out on the dayroom breaks they have that replaced for the inmates withing an hour or two...

Well... again, priorities; 3 of our 4 dining halls flood so bad in the rain we have to cell feed whenever it rains, and the fourth had part of the roof in the office collapse, as an example. So there are things that should be a bit more important...

We're having a company get together with all the staff, it's a pretty big affair. don't know what's on the menu this year (we're celebrating after the weekend) but it's always awesome.

good luck man; my wife was scheduled for a thursday C-section and then went into labor Tuesday. the baby was like "listen bitches i'm coming out when i want to, IDGAF if you think i'm late" so we were like "fine punk, we're going to ****ing cut you out" and he's like "**** you, pendejo i already told you i do things the way i want"

My kid came out an hour before we scheduled induction.

straight lazy. Haven't been feeling like logging. Still lifting and studying. But work upped my hours to 6 days a week and random 10 hour days. So my schedule tightened up.

i can't speak for him, but my kid and my job are kicking my ass lately. haven't even been lifting (though that's not surprising).

the kid is being a fussy eater, which is tough, but he's babbling incessantly, climbing on ****, breaking things, opening and closing doors compulsively, and generally being a cute, annoying 16 month old. it turns out kids are kind of high maintenance...who knew.

ah sucks about the hours, if it helps, i feel your pain and then some. it's awesome that you can see the end of the tunnel though...then you can start saving up cash and doing crazy things like get guacamole at Chipotle.

It really isn't that painful when you like your job, other than it means I'm not as social or as active as I'd like. Debts will be paid, it is alright. Many people have it much worse then I.

I did manage to: Contract a fungus from the cast put on my from the broken toe, get the flu, and a staph infection, all in about two weeks though. LOL.
