After seeing the video of the black bear ripping some dudes face off and eating his face while he's still alive, i refuse to even hike anywhere where there are bear warnings.

Bears can run more than 60 kilometers an hour, and they can do it up hills, down hills or along a slope. To put that in perspective, that’s 15 m/sec or 50 ft/sec – more than twice as fast as we can run. In fact, a bear can outrun a racehorse over short distances but has little endurance. So I think we need to bring a shotgun. But will that do chit though when it's running towards you at full speed. Don't want to ever figure it out lmao.
Lol no way a man can fight a bear physically. These fu*kers know bjj.

Refuse to listen.
Grizzly Man was a "good" film but way too bias IMO.
Most people will probably disagree with me but I honestly felt like the guy had a passion and felt a dire need to connect with nature. I think he lived his life how he wanted to without harming others or doing anything immoral. I can't call him an idiot.Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

He thought he was above what nature actually is, and had a "special connection" to these beasts.
He didn't, and he paid the price.
Darwin Award nominee right there.
It's like someone swimming in a notorious area of the ocean where shark attacks always happen because they feel like they are the "chosen one" lmao. Getting away with it for a while etc... then one day, a Great White comes along. Play stupid games - win stupid prizes.Positive Crew

Wild animals are wild animals and they will kill each other. Live and let live, yes, but don't put yourself in stupid positions. His work was great, but he didn't prepare because he thought somehow he had some special connection. I think the same thing when I see white people who go down to BLM protests.
