After he disarms her though, by choking her(allegedly) and telling her to "drop it" that's when she becomes increasingly fearful. She's clearly outmatched in strength and size and she can't defend herself with a weapon or by throwing rocks like she has previously when she was the aggressor. He's trying to remain calm up to this point but as he gets increasingly angry he has little trouble disarming her so, no I don't buy the argument that she could use a weapon to force him onto the balcony-unless it was a golf club. In any case he had what amounted to be little more than paper cuts on him.

The funny thing is if he was a poor grub he would be provided with a similar standard lawyer (QC / senior council) by legal aid. But because he has assets he and his parents have to foot the bill. His council used to be head of legal aid in Victoria and is a very experienced SC.

There is such a thing in Australia as "proceeds of crime" - which means he would not be able to profit by selling a story, however I'm assuming if he is found not guilty this would not affect him.
And yes, he will be offered a **** ton of money for his story/side of events. This could backfire though as they may sift through all his previous indiscretions/posts on misc and anything else they can dig up and paint him as an even worse person.

No. I'm just saying the idea of the roles being reversed and a guy being physically manhandled out the door by a woman 80lbs heavier is extremely unlikely. She used a weapon because she was ridiculously outmatched in size and strength. The point is, when this guy wanted to stop her he was able to do so fairly easily.

Oh no doubt it will be a hatchet job. That's what I meant by it making matters worse for him. Posting on the misc is not the same as testifying in court-hence why he never took the stand. So you could assume-even if he requested the questions before hand he would still probably not come across well. And they will definitely ask him about the pizza-even if the jury were told to ignore it.

A witness in the apartment below testified that he saw her legs dangling as she was holding onto the railing aboving. She was trying to lower herself down. If he had oushed or thrown her, what are the chances that she could have grabbed the railing with both arms in her ****faced state? The prosecution has conceded that he was not on the balcony when she fell.

As i said, this wasn't the first wasted woman he'd had sex with. if he's to be believed there were dozens, many dozens. I find it hard to believe he couldn't control her given his level of experience. I know the pizza thing isn't supposed to have any bearing on the verdict but it's difficult to ignore it.

No you are dead wrong. This is a criminal trial. Duty of care is a civil matter. When Tostee is acquitted, there will be zero redress for the victims family to sue him, because the acquittal by itself confirms that Tostee's actions in restraining a violent person were legal. You cannot sue a person for actions which are legal . The civil court would not accept the application as it would have no chance of succeeding.

Actually form the full recording that is the evidence, you can get a veyr good idea what is going on. Bascially Tsotee was non violent and very tolerant. Wrigth was the exact opposite. When you wonder why Tostee was acquitted, it is because this vital recording showed them what went on that night. Unfortunately most people only know the cherry picked juicy bits from MSM, many of which are false or skewed.

Consensus by Qld legal practitioners is, that there is 0.00% chance of him being connvicted.of anything. If they convict him of manslaughter, it will be automatically appealed and over turned. BalconyBrah is as good as free, as he always should have been. He did nothing wrong.
