Good workout, no complaints. Not the best sleep last night, but some how it worked to my advantage again. I'm like super hyper, and dumb today, lol. Also I had French toast (with vanilla protein powder) for breakfast, so maybe that's where all the energy is coming from.
Omg, remember that issue with the housing renovation thing, and the *sshole landlord, and possible fraud? Just got a call from the people for that housing renovation chit, and they asked if we rented to which I replied yes (of course), and said they'll pass it along to the people running this area, but they don't think it'll qualify since we're not the homeowners. I do love when problems solve themselves. Well, almost solved, but I think she's right, and it makes sense that it'd have to be homeowners who are applying for home renovations.
I'll still have a killer migraine at the end of the day (cue Jaws theme), but so far everything's pretty peachy today.
Now if I can get in a good leg day tomorrow with minimal to no back issues I'll be overjoyed.
Yeah, that one was me. I think I was referring to something that tastes chitty, but I don't remember what.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Yup! Oh yes, I remember the rusty a-hole very well LOL
Yummy! French toast with protein FTW! I must try this.

Hopefully it does. I don't want to deal with it, so it being over and done with would be a win.
That it does.
It beats feeling tired, and lazy. Lol.
Just a forewarning, the powder is gonna clump big time when you mix it with the eggs. I usually have to beat it with a fork for a minute or too, and it'll look like a lot of smaller clumps, but it comes out fine. No surprise powder explosions.
Yes! That was the thing! I know I've talked about not liking shrimp, and mushrooms too, but I didn't think I used such colorful terms for those.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Woohoo, got in a good leg day. Dialed back the weight on RDLs, because I put off getting my posts upstairs until this morning so my back was already iffy. Managed to get the weight up, and over my head for side squats without too much trouble, probably because I forgot I was going to do less rest time like last time. >.<
Ordered wrist straps the other day, but the expected delivery date is a few weeks. Which tends to piss me off when half that time is just for them to ship it out. -_- Oh well, wanna order chit cheaper, you can't complain too much. Just happy to know I'll have them, that the reviews were good, and I didn't have to spend out of pocket cash on a pair.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

These aren't the Bulgarian ones with one foot up. They're side squats like this:
But with a bar on your traps so you're not leaning down so much with the upper body. Not so hard to balance, so it's less of a pain. I like them for volume, so I have these on hyper days, and save the Bulgarian SS for power day where I'll do less volume.
Glad I could make someone laugh.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

Fluffin' lost my mind when the delivery truck showed up, I knew it'd be one or the other, but had a feeling the other will take a bit longer.

Thanks. I'm excited to see how it works, some stuff in there I've had in pres before, some I haven't, always up for trying new supps.
I think it's going to taste great, I poked a finger in there to see how it tastes (I was curious, I've tried so many varying flavors of fruit punch), and if the bit on my finger is accurate, it's gonna be pretty yummy.
I didn't post to FB when I first found out I won, because I didn't want to be that annoying chick who posts about fitness too much (not that I usually post much at all lol), but I was too excited when I got it not to. Besides, it's my page dammit. >.<
Also in doing so I realize I can use my dad's previous phone as a camera, as it has a micro SD so I can take pictures, and upload them from that. Won't have my rack up yet though, not 100% done. I know I've been taking forever, but the tops were too high, and I've only gotten one off with a hand saw so far (chit hurts my fluffed up right hand, it takes a bit of time, lol), and the hooks aren't going in as easy as I hoped so Ill have to pre-drill holes.
I'll get it done, and get a pic soon though!PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

OMG I'm so jealous! I think there is something wrong with my address or something, everything takes like forever to arrive and I already had once supp not show until I asked about it. I just emailed FBS about it, but considering I was a first round winner, something must be wrong. It's been three weeks! I haz a sad. I would prefer it to be my address because other wise I might get a complex

Great workouts Luna! Those side split squats sound kind of brutal!
Yay on getting your new pre workout!
Glad the issue is almost resolved with the home renovation. That totally screamed fraud to me.
Awesome that you can use your dad's old phone camera!! Can't wait to see pics of your project!
Ditto this!! My knees don't like these at all. So I'm probably doing something wrong I guess. My journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159386641
2018 goals:
Lift more than I did in 2017, which won't be hard because I haven't lifted much since March 2017
Build back the muscle I lost while I went through a "I hate lifting" phase
Love lifting again

Just caught up... so much going on this past week!
- Yay for renovations issue sorting itself out. Hope your landlord gets a load of whoop arse for that.
- Interesting mixer thingy. I prefer to blend my protein powder but hardly ever bother if I'm not adding fruit and yoghurt. Speaking of which, I left my protein shake in the fridge this morning. Dammit. I'm hungry now.
- I eventually looked up Pendlay Rows. They look kinda cool. You've reminded me I need to look up something on my rows. Bugger.
- I miss single/split leg stuff. There's not a lot of it in the first phase of SG. Definitely looking forward to writing my own programmes again.

I know someone else on the thread was still waiting too from the first round. I guess I just got lucky, lol. Hopefully you get yours soon. I get to finally try mine out today, along with my DIY project, lol. No better way to test a pre than on a leg day.
They are but you (or at least I do) need to focus on it or you can end up sorta bouncing instead of really pushing through your leg. Lol.
Yes, so excited to try it out!
Yeah, we've been completely honest with them, so if they approve it and have a problem they can't put it on us. Hell, we told them twice. >.<

If he just gets declined I'll be happy, lol. He keeps talking about it like it's going to happen because he's an entitled piece of chit like that.
I need a blender, I want to make smoothies. I've considered getting one of the smaller, cheaper ones (since I'd be the only one using it anyway), that have the cup that attaches right to the blender, but I get concerned over some of the reviews.
Pendlay rows are pretty awesome, though they took me awhile to do right. lol. Good for my upper back/rear delts, which is good for my chitty posture (she says sitting up straighter).
I don't like split leg stuff. How can you miss it? Lol. They kick your ass like double leg workouts, but it takes twice as long. >.<PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

I think I need to spend some time looking at rows. I just do 1 arm DB rows right now, resting knee and hand on the bench... but finding grip strength is starting to become an issue now I'm at 16kg. Time for some more research!
I love how split leg/single leg stuff really burns deep into my muscles. There's something really satisfying about the focused effort and intensity. But yeah, double the time kinda sucks.

Grip has been becoming an issue for me too, which is why I ordered some cheap straps online to see if they help. I know, cheap isn't always good, but the reviews checked out, and I'm not spending "actual" money on them, so it's not a loss if they suck or I hate using them, lol.
Yeah they do work well, which is also why they suck. lol.
Got my True Grit review up, and hopefully it's all ok, and what they were looking for. If anyone's interested: Link.
