    Skinny fat and confused

    Okay so right now I'm I'm about 170 after cutting but I still have tits and a gut. I'm 6-2. I bulked up over a few months before this cut and got from 175 to about 200. Thinking that if I was skinny fat I should bulk first to make me look better. Well all that did was make me fat. But at 170 now I don't know if it would be healthy to lose any more weight. Any advice?

    I was cutting at about 2200 calories and my matinence is about 2900 so I didn't lose weight too fast. I eat really clean and make sure I get enough protein and fats everyday and I fill the rest of calories with complex carbs. So I'm really not sure what else I should be doing.

    So you bulked and gained weight, that's not really the only point of bulking.

    How did you train? Did your lifts go up, and if so, by how much?

    I made a video about this on my youtube channel, what i can tell you is that you put on alot of weight and didn't give your body enough time to actually develop and form the muscles. If you're gonna bulk, I personally believe you should be in a bulk 8+ months if your goal is to cut down with a decent muscular stature

    I did a 5 day split my routine is something like this

    Chest: 4 sets of bench press, 6-10 reps, Incline bench, 3 sets 6-10 reps, DB flyes 3 sets 6-10 reps, cable crossovers 3 sets 6-10 reps

    Back: Deadlift, 5 sets, 5 reps, barbell row, 4 sets 8-10 reps, T-bar row 3 sets 8-10 reps, lat pull downs 3 sets 8-10 reps

    Arms: barbell curl 4 sets 8-12 reps, hammer curl 3 sets 8-12 reps, preacher curls 3 sets 8-12 reps, skullcrushers 4 sets 8-12 reps, dip machine 3 sets 12 reps, tricep kickback 3 sets 8-12 reps

    Legs: squats 5 sets 6-8 reps, leg press 3 sets 6-8 reps, seated hamstring machine, 5 sets 8-12 reps, calf raises 5 sets 20 reps

    Shoulders: bb overhead press 5 sets 4-6 reps, DB press 4 sets 6-8 reps, DB lateral raise 4 sets 8-12 reps and bb front raises 3 sets 8-12 reps

    I don't think I made too much strength gains when I bulked I wasn't able to add too much weight I'm not sure why but I definitely lost strength during this cut

    So would suggest a clean bulk long term for 8 months? I honestly think I'm close to 20% bf now at 170 so idk how good id look
