Anyone know of a "reference" plum perfume? Finally received an opened bottle of GUERLAIN Parure in pure Parfum but I can't tell if it's plum or if the perfume has turned.

chambre noire had a prominent plum note different from plum japonais....almost a medicinal type note from what I remember...bond's andy warhol supposedly has plum in it also, and according to fragrantica by kilians single malt has plum in it also

Completely forgot about Plum Japonais, need to wear it soon.
Thanks! Need to sample of Chambre Noire again. No chance I'd find a bottle of the Bond.....and was just thinking where on earth I'd get Single Malt from, and then remembered...
Shoutout to Sasha. Arrived months ago, haven't gotten around to it.Misc Cologne Crew

the best "generic" scent IMO. Last a good while on me (6hrs).
The EDT to me is a Grey("modern"), flat, obviously synthetic grapefruit/bergamot accord followed by smokeless incense and a surprisingly good cedar/vetiver base. Labdamum rounds everything off. Not a true chypre, but the spiritual successor of scents like Grey Flannel, only more timid and PC.
Good for everything, great for nothing. I'd rank it a notch above Sauvage, as it is very well blended and at least fits its name and marketing ( sauvage is about the least "wild" scent ever). EDP is a smoother and deeper but less teen friendly. EDT is louder and sweeter. A great dumb grab for the day to days.
Bottle is classic.
7/10

Off topic a bit but what kind of Pitt stick you good smelling brahs use?

Don't know if any brahs like D&G Intenso EDP but I was wandering around Ross and they had 3 75mL bottles at $25 a piece. Might be worth a look if you like it. Never smelled it personally.

the weather for the next 2-3 weeks looks to be on average above 55... is it time to shut down tobacco vanille until late fall/winter? stay tuned!
tbh though I kinda want to shut TV down (although I still love this juice as my main cold weather frag) b/c I have so many warm weather frags to enjoy lol••• Xtend Representative •••

I've noticed a salty element in Aventus, it doesn't always come out though

Reading up on Dior Sauvage is the most bizarre thing.
Seems to be widely and almost universally panned by perfume critics, and many others.
However a consistent thread in online user reviews is that it gets people mad compliments to rival or exceed Aventus.
What gives misc? Thoughts?
NB: have yet to try it, but now I'm getting curious

Yep, it's a great scent. Clean, crisp, sometimes like fresh laundry. I would say it gets complimented every, or every other time I wear it. Be careful not to use too much, a little goes a long way with Sauvage.
Buy a sample off ebay if you're wanting to try it without buying a full bottle.
