The answer is obviously creatine since it the most effective well researched supplement of all time, not sure why some people would say whey protein when its just powered food.

If it has to be a single ingredient: Creatine.
If it can be a single supp:
I'm a fan of ergogens (esp Creatine & Betaine) but I also like ingredients the provide more immediate/tangible performance benefits (for energy, focus or pumps) so with that being said I would currently go with either:
Carbon Prep or ANS Ritual.
Both provide Creatine & Betaine (carbon = LCLT, Ritual = BA) while also providing focus and pump aspects (Ritual also provides energy via stims).
