Lift more than I did in 2017, which won't be hard because I haven't lifted much since March 2017
Build back the muscle I lost while I went through a "I hate lifting" phase

PRs, PRs everywhere, as far as the eye can see
You're throwing some crazy weight around! Oh, you're definitely an inspiration for a lot of us. For me, you're especially my pull ups and bench go-to which makes me inspired and then makes me ask myself questions like "it's 11 at night and I already worked out today, but maybe I should go bench???" Darn you lol

Great workout, got a lot done. I still feel like I have no idea wtf I'm doing on deadlifts. DL is like someone threw me in a nuclear physics class all of a sudden and said ok, you're teaching this today! Decent weight, but meh.
Upper body was sore from back/bicep day and I think that slowed me down a little on OHP, went fairly easy on that today.
CGBP always feels easy as fawk so kicked some ass on that.

Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Nice work!
For me, deadlifts are the one lift that don't seem to respond well with frequency. I don't get any better results doing them 2-3 times a week than I do pulling once a week (or even less) and using the rest of the week to do accessories.
For me, cgbp feels odd since my normal grip isn't that wide to begin with, so I'm always thinking how much closer am I supposed to go?

Same here, I schedule them in once a week and that's it. If I did them any more it would screw up my 2 squat days.

Great workout, didn't feel like my day to go really heavy on squats so I lowered the weight and banged out some good triples, very challenging but I did well with it. Pull ups went awesome! I don't think I've ever hit 50 in a day before. I've gotten a lot better at those. I didn't have time to do cardio today so I'll knock that out tomorrow evening on its own, no lifting til Saturday.Current PRs:

Awesome pull-up day! Pull-ups are far less nuclear physics than deadlifts...I feel like those are more like, basic mechanics 101, whereas deadlifts are graduate level course that ruins almost everyone's chances at honors. Seems like the cut is treating you really well for pull-ups though...and also cool that you're still able to get in a million sets and your endurance isn't tanking!

No, that's definitely squats for me. Waaaaaay too advanced and too many variables to remember. Deadlifts for me are just like stop thinking and pick the *#$&#$ thing up off the floor. Please do me a favor and yell exactly that when you see me at the meet, btw. Well I guess "Just pick it up!" is more family friendly, so that would probably be a better choice.

Squats are quantum. There's all this time dilation that goes on where each squat is an hour for the person under the bar and a couple seconds for everyone else, and then length dilation where depth gets farther and farther away, and then classical mechanics gets thrown out the window, just in time for gravity to say "eff this nonsense" and staple you to the ground.

I try to match up stupid squats or DL with something I'm decently good at haha.
Yep, pull ups are like "turn your brain off" easy for me. Cut is going fine indeed, lifts have all been pretty stable and I'm in the gym 6x a week, all good so far.
Lulz, cheeky.

Haha thanks! Mind=blown that commercial gyms don't at least play a lot of stuff close to Metallica. Also grocery store music. Those are two places where aggressive music gets people to get chit done efficiently, srs. LMAO you guys. I can knock out two sets in a 3 min song so about 1 min rest in between, srs. I have to move through them pretty quick to get to that total of 50 or I'd be there all day haha.

I also went to Lifetime Fitness today and enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and sauna.
Getting the mail today was like Christmas morning. My package from ANIMAL arrived as well as my Perky Turkey Jerky subscription! Duuuude these t-shirts are sick! I got both in large and they fit me amazingly well. They are as soft as a kitten on my traps! I can not say enough about these shirts. Most of my Iconics are size medium and are perfect, and a couple others in large, it's like no matter what size I get it magically conforms to my arms, chest, and back perfectly. I got a sweet banner which I already hung up in my home gym, and a fitted hat. Some hats are huge and weird on my odd head so I went with the smaller of the two and it fits perfectly!
Very happy with my items. I want to wear one of the shirts for bp day, can't decide which one lol!Current PRs:
