Been thinking about getting into rugby again with a local club, but then realized I haven't run since the last time I played in college like 5 years ago

This is what I'm hoping for. I wonder if they will both lift at Boss of bosses 3. Its WRPF this time, rather than USPA. I hope they both squat 500.
I remember reading somewhere that Zahir claims he will go 500/300/400 some time in his life. 2645 lbs. Seems stupid, but he has also backed a lot (if not all) of his claims so far. Most of my lifting gets posted to Instagram - https://instagram.com/fayerjw/

TBH I think Malan is just being smart, both in his training and in comp. Bumping up his WR 2.5-5kg at a time so he doesn't get injured and burned out before his career his over. He's not a young fella.
Reminds me of a Rippetoe interview with Gallagher. I remember him saying back in the day bunch of kids in the neighborhood would go to some guy's (forget his name) basement and just sit and watch him lift every weekend.
Played rugby for a few years in high school. Couldn't handle the running so I sucked lol.My training log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=129669663

I'm pretty certain if Malan could get his hands on a mono and train with it 500kg would be easy weight. But yea I feel like eventually Zahir will surpass Malan. Malan's lifts haven't really moved much in recent years (he squatted 450kg in 2010, he's been benching around 260kg and pulling 400kg for a long time), plus it's not like he could or would get any bigger. Zahir on the other hand is still in the 125kg and he says he will eventually go up a weight class or two. Imagine what he could do if he was over 300lbs.

Was thinking the same thing. Been out of it for almost 2 years now, power output and running ability is definitely sub par. Used to be decently fast for my size. I used to drive 45 minutes to play with one club, but I might be living 15 minutes away this summer. Only reason I'm really considering it.
I'm also like 20+ lbs bigger and way stronger than when I was playing before.
I had barely heard of it before I started playing in high school. Not sure if it was just the people I knew, but after that it just seemed to grow a lot. It's grown a ton on the east coast in the past few years (mainly because of a particular coach that came over from Ireland), but it's definitely bigger in western CanadaB. Kinesiology

Just counted my daily calorie consumption for the first time cause I'm bored as fuk. About 3800cal. Sounds pretty low to me but I'm still maintaining/slowly gaining at 265lbs. I thought I'd be closer to 5000cal/day.

Been pretty much eating the same shiit for 3 years I've just increased the amount over the years. It's the cheapest and fastest way for me to consume the amount of protein and carbs that I need. Being a student I can't spend lots of time and money on food. Takes me 30 minutes max every week to get all my meals ready. I do eat out once or twice a week though.

I'd like to think (no perv) that Zahir calling out Eric sounds similar to when he's having sex with his wife.

Weird. You'd think by now he'd have learned Finnish or she'd have learned Russian/Azeri/whatever his first language is. Is the interview available to read anywhere online?
I don't think I could live like that srs, I get super bored of food if I eat it too much. My diet is fuking horrendous though, I just eat what I feel like and try eat enough meat/drink enough milk to get the protein in.
