Orlando could realistically pull into the playoffs as well, they're just very obviously not as good as the Celtics are, as showcased by every single metric.
Worse defensively and offensively, so obviously they'll lag behind.
I think Skiles is the competition for Stevens in COTY, but Boston has a bit more going for them imo.
Orlando SOS is also 28th in the league. Sooooooooo yah.Originally Posted by RogerSterling i workout for my health, dont feel the need to eat if i'm not hungry since i still get plenty of puss being the weight i am now.

It better be for Marc and not Pau. Celtics would be dumb to try for Pau.
But Celtics along with Bulls and Heat have supposedly made offers for Cousins. Bulls have no one for the Kings unless butler is involved. Heat have Whiteside and Winslow they could offer. Celtics have every pick in the world plus multiple very nice role players.
Celtics and Heat have the best offers for Cousins. Im sure the Kings laughed at whatever the bulls offered.

Myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy miscer.
Jotaro, thoughts on current roster? Who would you move? Who would you want to keep?
My list of "want to definitely keep" is basically Crowder Thomas and Smart. Bradley allows us to have an elite defensive backcourt but at his current tag I'd part with him for the right pieces.
I would keep Turner for the bench, and ideally I want Thomas as our 6th man. Crowder is a starter for a good team. 2 way player. Love that we got him. Underrated.Originally Posted by RogerSterling i workout for my health, dont feel the need to eat if i'm not hungry since i still get plenty of puss being the weight i am now.

Got you fam. Pretty much agree, would part with Bradley at the right price, David Lee is one I would love to see get moved although it doesn't seem likely. For the most part I love this roster. Thomas has been going nuts 25-6-3 in January.
I really do think this team could contend with anyone in the East, it'd be a great step forward if they win a playoff series (maybe even two), this year.

Hey... A Celts thread! I wanted to ask some questions....
1) I know that you guys have your eye set on Boogie but would you accept Love if an offer for him was on the table? Something like maybe Lee/Bradley/Olynyk for Love?
2) Why the fuk is Stevens so against starting Kelly and giving him consistent minutes? It seems like every time he starts you guys win comfortably.... Perhaps I'm missing something?

No. Love is damaged goods, he also cannot be the #1 on a real team. He has proved that time and time again.
Kelly is like a necessary evil on this current roster. He's just terrible but if he hits his 3s? Suddenly he's okay and valuable to our pace and space offense that has no real space. That's why he is against starting Kelly, he's crazy bad on defense. I haven't even glanced at his metrics but he fails the eye test (lol)Originally Posted by RogerSterling i workout for my health, dont feel the need to eat if i'm not hungry since i still get plenty of puss being the weight i am now.

You'd think that you guys would struggle then with Kelly playing bigger minutes when Sully or Amir are out..... but that doesn't seem to be the case. You just outscoring people then?
As for Love.... ha. I should have known better than to ask you about him. Would not expect any other answer. A Thomas/Love P & R would be interesting though.

Not even sure who I'd like in that range. Maybe a SF or SG, but I haven't seen enough NCAA to really judge any good ones this year.
I'd say we trade the pick if its not 1/2.
Add Horford or Whiteside in FA next season, along with who you're going to get in the trade/draft and I'm optimistic we'll be up there to start next season.

Ideally you'd use the pick (outside of the top 2) in a trade to acquire an all-star, but i'm not sure how much value a pick in the 3-5 range is going to have with this draft.
Someone said earlier that they had a source that lead them to believe that Ainge agreed to deal Marcus Smart, Jae Crowder, and the Brooklyn pick for Jimmy Butler. Both sides agreed, Chicago approached Boston with the offer, but Chicago's ownership overrode the trade.
Supposedly it's going to be assessed again in the offseason.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
