To many DUI's
No i love the freedom, how far from home you can get before you even realize it. Of course the workout doesn't hurt either.

I like challenging my boundaries and putting myself in situations that require focus because of low margin for error. It really gives a good contrast to the mundane work days in the office to get out on the weekend and push the limits.

Just got this as an early Xmas present. Pushed myself a little too hard on it yesterday after dinner and ended up puking. This video is what I did and it kicked my ass, havent ridden in 3 months though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSFYRiqodvU
I live in NY so this should be handy in the winter.
Going to get the inRide power , cadence, speed and distanc eand HR sensor add on for it.
Anyone have one of these?

Yah its awesome and i've only done one ride so far on it. Going to wake up early tomorrow morning and get a workout in. Do you have the HR + Power sensor? If so, how do you like it?
Also, what do you watch while on it? Only riding videos and spin class training videos or just regular tv?
Also, curious about the sweat band thing you have, whats that all about?
Lol at the fan, i was pouring sweat! Much more than ive experienced on an actual ride but thats prob bc no wind flow so i noticed it more.

Yeah i use the Wahoo kickr which has the built in power meter. You have to use a fan blowing up in your face, you will still sweat like crazy but its the only way to last more than 20 minutes. I use ZWIFT which is what is up on my Tv via apple tv.
I would also suggest you buy a trainer tire so you don't wear out your real tire.(201) NJ Crew

^currently go through 1 gatorskin per month with my current setup so I'm used to wearing out tires. Annoying as hell TBH.

I did Sufferfest - A Very Dark Place. This is my second ride on my trainer. I didn't puke like I did on my first ride lol. I downloaded my data using inRide for Kinetic + HR Tickr X to Golden Cheetah.
But damn, I'm a little weak aren't I? Seems like most people i see on forums are averaging 200+ watts whereas I peak out on the hills at ~200ish.
I guess that's room for improvement

When it comes to power it's power to weight ratio that matters.
I hit the trails up this weekend. Just a quick 7 miles Saturday and an impromptu 22 miles on Sunday.
Trail riding is so much harder than road riding. We don't have rocks or real hills in Memphis but we have lots of winding singletrack with tons of tree roots.
I'm sore everywhere and I didn't even crash.Coffee Crew: Bold Black Crew

Now that finals are approaching. Going to be getting some time to be doing more longer distance rides again. My last climbing session went pretty well. Managed to get 10th (out of 3k) on my every day climb, gotta love that feel!

^ Nice work man. Any races coming up? (what cat are you btw?)
Lowly cat 5 here. Hoping to get to 3 next year but racing has stopped in NE until about April... I'm happy with my fitness/power numbers/FTP but def need to get more confident with bike handling in the upcoming season.Mile: 4:29

Just got into cycling 2 weeks ago and Im in need of a bib for those long distance rides, did 100km for the first time yesterday and my ass was pretty sore by the end of it. What are peoples recommendations on brands you trust when it comes to cycling gear in terms of quality and value for money ? AND atm I just ride an old cromo bike with rsx shifters, what do people think of the cervelo RS with 105 crankset? Will rep for help

Well you're going to have a wide swath when it comes to anatomies. However, Giordana cycling apparel and/or Pearl are great when cost is not an option (or they have a sale that fits you).
In my case though, I find Performance gear 8-9ths the quality of the expensive stuff for a lot less. I was even pleasantly surprised to find that their tights were long enough (also comfortable and warm) even for my 6'4 frame.🎥

Nearly ended up under a car on the way home after work today, was doing a U-turn to get on the other side of a 3 lane and some fukhead 90 deg to my left (ausbrah) turning in the same direction decided to pull into the middle of the turning area right up to my curb.
I was absolutely fkn hammering it and the kunt came about 5 car lengths too far towards me in anticipation of turning. Went sideways for a good 15ft (in duty boots no less, was quite freaky having not been sideways since i was about 12 and riding a bmx) and stopped about 2ft away from his front right wheel.... then the kunt sat there looking at me like "what? are you going to move?".
Pretty sure my back tyre is raped as i was feeling a little bump all the way home which im assuming is a slight flat spot.**#3 always delivers crew**
