Troy has been inundated with requests (read: people begging and complaining) for him to increase membership size (only 80 of us from the 1st year) so this was his solution (after asking a lot of us existing members) to make it as fair as possible and also keeping it as local as possible (or at least keep it to folks who have some personal experience with the brewery). A lot of us told him to make it an in-person only application like the first year was, but a LOT of folks have been traveling to attend releases the past 6 months or so.
As far as trustees go, it's kind of a misnomer, no trustees are assigned but Troy lets members pick up bottles for other members, so if you got in, I'd be able to pick your bottles up for you (you just write Troy an email to let him know each month/each time I go up). I can't imagine how many applications he's gotten already... very glad I am grandfathered in.Eat Less, Exercise More, Repeat Forever

That Casey society kinda bugged me out though -- $100 for ONE bottle? plus the right to buy more bottles? I mean, if you trade anyone for Casey stuff regularly, you already have that.
It's crazy to see how hype makes people lose sight of common sense, like those Tired Hands memberships for $500-$1k... so much nope.Common Sense Crew

Word. Ya crazy shyt though.
Casey. Sofa king good. Probably my 2nd favorite brewery.
LET'S DO DIS
LOL, why you no upland membership brah?
aka $250 with NO beer, no discounts. You're just guaranteed beer at every release. Lels. The TH Believer's membership is very much worth it though; you can cut the lines, you get the amount you paid on a gift card AND a 5-20% discount for anything for the length of the membership with which you bought. So a $500 cost gets you $525 worth of anything from TH and you get to cut lines... Hell yes. I got the $1000 one so I have a $1k gift card and get 10% off anything and am guaranteed bottles for any release AND I get a discount on those bottles for two years. I broke it out this way in my head:
Exclusive stone fruit bottle - $30
Glass - $10
T-Shirt - $10
Catered party - $30 (could have put that down a lot higher knowing Troy and having talked with him about this event back in August, it would be worth the membership cost alone)
Online purchasing ability - $$$ honestly no real amount to attach to this, it is again worth the price alone to not have to drive 9 hours every single month and now that Troy is using BPT and giving the money to charity, it's also saving $20 each allocation/month.
I've got no real dog in the fight so to speak, Troy will have no problem filling the membership slots and I am thankful I am automatically in for the next year and I was prepared to pay a lot more than the $100 anyway. My GF put in an app as well so hopefully both of us will be members and then it will be super easy to send bottles to you still and Cliff and a few other bros.Eat Less, Exercise More, Repeat Forever

Drank these during the last Seahawk game.
A coworker bought me this. He loves Ninkasi's stuff. I think Ninkasi is ok and would not be surprised if Bud or Miller buys them out.
This beer is okay. Dark chocolate and coffee flaovrs. I would have never purchased.
Not bad. This is light and hoppy. This is pretty much an IPA, possibly DIPA. They call it a double alt...don't see it at all.
Also, f*cking lmao at the Seahwaks sucking this year. You knew it was only a matter of time before we sucked, but holy sh*t I did not know we would start to suck bad this year.Last edited by Kiefer 2004; 10-17-2015 at 11:16 AM.
