I was going to sign up for that once, figured I would sprint the first part really hard, cram down all the doughnuts, and make a fast paced walk back.

Long day of my own doing. Woke up earlier than usual and decided to go into work and finish up stuff so I can get off earlier than usual on Friday. On the way home, I stopped by a store to get some stuff. Had a head rush while perusing the aisles. I had skipped lunch and my breakfast consisted of a GY cup.

But to answer your question, yes it is possible.

In other news, 3 people at work told me yesterday that I look like I've been losing weight. I guess 3 months not going to the gym will do that.
Old man? I'm going to hunt a moose this winter. I recall reading something about it last year but I wasn't sure if it was a bunch of nonsense or was fact. Thanks for the info, Clark Kent.

Oh. Thanks for the reminder, Jason. I need to get in touch with SIG USA to start the warranty process on my P220. My P30L will have to do until SIG replaces the barrel. I'm not going to spend $250 on a barrel replacement for a defective barrel.

I prefer Colt, but I feel you on the replacement barrel.

On my bucket list is the Colt CQBP .45...however the 2100.00 price tag is a bit...pricey.

    Somebody plase halp meh.

I'm trying to find one of Kelei's old threads, for a PPL routine that isn't rest pause. IIRC it was straight sets where the weight increased after you can hit 12 on the first set. I've done a couple of searches but found diddly.

    Edit: Nvm, got it.

I think I bought mine for around 1400 which included 3 extra clips and some other doodads. I noticed something was up after my last shooting outing when the projectile would fall or go either way. I didn't think much of it until after I cleaned it and some time had passed until recently when I was able to find a light thin enough to stick in the barrel. The outside of the barrel unit is fine, the inside's a different story.

I'm trying to find one of Kelei's old threads, for a PPL routine that isn't rest pause. IIRC it was straight sets where the weight increased after you can hit 12 on the first set. I've done a couple of searches but found diddly.

I deliberately am not buying Quest PP just because of your review. And their chitty new recipe.

Just scored myself some Trutein Pumpkin Pie Protein. I can't wait to make pumpkin pancakes on Sunday.

Back when I was a coffee fiend, I'd make cold brew coffee. Dunno if you've ever had it, but it tastes a lot better than hot coffee.

I've made several changes, the most significant of which happens to be the abandonment of strict rest-pause, although I still believe in training to/near failure. If you're unable to perform particular exercises due to equipment/injury issues you'll need to incorporate similar alternative exercises, the exercises I've listed are in accordance with my personal preferences. The advanced version is my personal routine in case any of you are wondering.

    -------------------------------------------------------

    Beginner D1:

    Bench press
    Tricep pressdowns
    Cable side lateral raises

    Beginner D2:

    Chin-ups
    Chest-supported rows
    Lying cable curls

    Beginner D3:

    Front squats
    Romanian deadlifts
    Standing calf raises

    -------------------------------------------------------

    Intermediate D1:

    Dips
    Incline bench press
    Tricep pressdowns
    Cable side lateral raises

    Intermediate D2:

    Chin-ups
    Pull-ups
    Chest-supported rows
    Lying cable curls

    Intermediate D3:

    Front squats
    Romanian deadlifts
    Leg extensions
    Leg curls
    Standing calf raises

    -------------------------------------------------------

    Advanced D1:

    Dips
    Incline bench press
    Flat dumbbell flyes
    Tricep pressdowns
    Cable side lateral raises

    Advanced D2:

    Chin-ups
    Pull-ups
    Chest-supported rows
    Prone Y raises
    Lying cable curls

    Advanced D3:

    Front squats
    Romanian deadlifts
    Hack squats
    Hyperextensions
    Leg extensions
    Leg curls
    Standing calf raises
    Seated calf raises

    -------------------------------------------------------

Pick a 10RM and perform 3-5 sets to failure (as many full reps as possible), rest 90 seconds between sets, add more weight once you can complete 12 reps in your first set. For calves pick a 15RM and add more weight once you can complete 20 reps in your first set.

You should cycle through D1, D2 and D3 no matter what day of the week it is, if you performed D2 the last time you were in the gym you should perform D3 the next time you're in the gym etc. Rest days are taken whenever they're needed, you can also take days off for special occasions etc, this should be flexible enough for most people.

I expect beginners to have spent at least a few weeks learning proper/safe form before starting this routine properly, it's not safe to jump straight into training to/near failure.

I recommend a 3/1 week loading/deloading schedule, during a deload you should perform only your first set of each exercise.
You can't get much done in life if you only work on the days when you feel good.
