In America we have a constitutional right to bare arms and it's not going any place.

On many occasions police arrive too late to save lives as in this shooting where 13 people were killed because no one had a gun for defense other than the the shooter.

Oh and you would not shoot someone who was trying to kill you or your family?

Nah man thats a well known thing, happens in every war. People will pretend to be busy doing stuff so they don't have to kill the enemy, they'll shoot high and low on purpose, muskets were routinely found that had been loaded 4-5 times without ever firing, sometimes even if they are about to be killed they won't shoot the enemy, just can't do it. Most people aren't warriors.

Still, the 10% (or whatever it is) who are capable of taking life defensively should carry a pistol, I actually consider it a duty you have as a sane law abiding American citizen, like paying taxes and jury duty.

we have a lot of low IQ people who won't agree to laws that will stop it. They all cite the constitution, but haven't even seen a passage from it since 5th grade history class. Basically anyone who is white collar agrees that there is a gun problem.

This. This whole society is fcked. Everybody and their mother is on anti depressants. Family member of mine was completely fckin crazy while she was testing out different medications. Completely unstable. Went to the doctor once for some issues I was having and immediately said "you probably have depression. Typically for that, we prescribe ***** and zoloft. Do you want to to try this routine?"
