i thought the movie was good, i know a bit of the nwa history and death row from being a hip hop head back in the day...
i thought some scenes were interesting of how they told the nwa breakup history.. its well known suge knight and his goons forced eazy into signing over dre by using violence one night in the studio, what i didnt like is how they made dre totally innocent about it.... he knew about suge knight and them doing that, dre was never a ganster and he admits it now that he's older and mature, he tried to be something he wasnt back than (when they made death row) and truthfully, it scared him, which is why he said fuk it, im out to suge knight and told him he can have everything
also in that scene in the death row studio where they have a guy naked in his underwear with a dog barking at him, its a famously known event that took place where suge knight and his goons beat up a bad boy associate and made him drink his own piss and give puffy's address.. if you remember in that scene you see him holding up a glass and he's about to drink but dre stops him (and they want him to make a toast in reference to the east coast/west coast beef), in that scene they also show the badges on some guys in references to the off-duty lapd cops suge had on his payroll

Suge killed Eazy, Pac, and Biggie actually.
I wish Cube and the NOI and Lench Mob would have went after Suge.A hit was sent, from the President, to raid your residence /

I liked it a lot, they took quite a few creative liberties though. O'Shea Jr impressed me. The fact he's a dead ringer for his dad didn't hurt.
Don't worry brah it's Humpty-approved

8/10, Really enjoyed it, grew up in this time of hip hop/golden era. Ice cube's no vaseline was as epic as I remember it on tape back in the day.

Pretty good movie. It's one of the only good movies about a musician(s), besides The Doors movie. Cube and Dre weren't made to seem gangster at all, only Eazy which is actually true, since he reportedly had $250k ($500k in todays money) saved up that he started NWA with. I like how they portrayed Suge. The movie leaves open the possibility that Suge injected Eazy with HIV. When they're in the studio, and Suge is about to beat Eazy to get him to sign over the contracts he says something like "sign them over or I'll change you". Suge killing Eazy with HIV is definitely plausible. Suge basically comes out and says he injected Eazy with HIV on the Kimmel interview years ago (it's on youtube).
The only thing I didn't like, is there wasn't ONE decent white person in the entire movie. Like what the ****? Perfect fuel for more #blacklivesmatter racists.
