Just another Levrone comeback thread.

Obviously depends on the person, as noted in this thread, Lou and Fed made pretty successful comebacks but to Bob's point, look at what happened o Jay when he took a year off.

Jay was on a downward slide regardless with the injuries but he lost a noticeable amount of size, especially in his delts/chest width, which was his strong point. He went from 2nd to Phil to a very generous placing of 6th at his "comeback" Olympia. Probably should have placed 7th or 8th.

Had he kept at it and not taken the year off, he possibly could have had a shot at a top 3 placing had he maintained his width but that year off hurt him along with the tears/injuries of course.

What you say is true, but at the same time we are talking about a guy that was well known for being a hyper responder and "blowing up" in a short amount of time.

Yeah he's been out of the game forever but I think compared to others he has a much better chance of getting to at least near the ballpark of where he left off relatively quickly if he was serious about it.

I agree with RC, I actually don't believe he's even "on". Might've slightly upped his TRT doses but other than that I'd say he just started training with reasonable frequency and intensity.

I don't even know what people are expecting. The guy is 50 years old. last time he competed was like 12 years ago. He isn't gonna ever step on the same stage with the likes of Phil Heath and Kai Greene or Ramy.

Honestly, musclepavel what were you expecting 240 lb and 3% body fat? I really want to know. Plus, we all know by now that Kevin is hyping it up to stay relevant and sell products. He looks to be in good shape for someone who trains at the gym as a hobby. Like what would impress you? He isn't competing like a Toney Freeman or Dexter. He won't ever look like the way he used to from 1992-2002 period.

Edit: After being out of the gym for so long, if he looks like his levronereport transformation, that would be awesome but I dont think even that will happen

It is said but you know what thats how it is.

From recent memory, there were 2 big names in the industry that everyone losed hop for that everyone thought they would never ever step on a stage again and were mocked for years actually did end up stepping on stage and loooking great doing it Zac Khan and Lee Priest. Loves the package they both brought

I am kinda sure that Kevin cant surpass his transformation of 5-6 years ago though or that of a Lee Labrada or Rich Gaspari. If he does it would be awesome but he most likely wont.

Ease up. Just for the record, he never claimed comeback this time around just that he was going to give some serious training a go and THEN IF he responds well, he may consider the stage. It was a political answer with an easy out.

But to be fair, it's not like he said, "Guys, I'm coming back to the stage! Just wait baby!".

The only way he hyped it so far was when he said on IG that fans keep asking him to reveal his progress and he said he would peel it off for them/us on July 16th which he then reneged on by stating it will now be the last week in September. That part was definitely annoying.

you are forgetting the levrone formula. with levro-shock and other groundbreaking levro supplements, he may very well have ramy's size and munzer's conditioning

I'm sure he could still get in excellent shape but his age would start to show. At 50, the real issue is you can't nail your condition the way you used to in your 30s. I honestly could see him surpassing his 2003 Mr.O even at this age, top 6 would definitely possible imo. But it's safe to say Levrone is not going to come back for a 6th place position at the Mr.O.

A few months ago Levrone said if he would achieve ~250 lbs shredded he might consider a pro comeback. That time he claimed he gains pound a day. Do you see here shredder 250 lbs? I don't.
