    Pre work outs Vs Coffee

    I no a lot os people are anti with supplements that they all carry bad chemicals etc its bad for your body liver etc,I've been using supplements now for around 2 years Protein shakes and the occasion pre workout supplements I'm down to my last bit of Oxyshred by Ehplabs,and was thinking about shooting back a few shots of black coffee in the morning before i hit gym any suggestions here..

    i personally feel better on coffee than preworkouts , especially mr hyde makes me feel like crap when i take a full scoop. im just out of breathe the entire time. 400 mg damn caffeine

    i go to 7/11 service stations on the way to gym and get a dollar coffee on the machine where you make it youself. i just get three short blacks & a bit of milk. tastes like ass but gets you going

    i personally have used both, its all personal preference. sometimes i go without either and my lifts are just fine.

    Do you like coffee? If so then its really a no-brainer. Before I liked coffee I would mix a bunch of instant coffee into a couple ounces of hot water and slam it back. But that was many moons ago...

    I've took a week off my Pre-Workout (Pre-Jym) and had 2 double scooped cups of coffee instead. The caffeine content is about the same and my performance is not too different between the two!

    +1 on mr. hyde making me feel like utter crap...the jekyll was better but only by an inch....
    I hate coffee, if i ever don't take a pre and try something else....it is normally green tea with some honey added in.

    there are definitely benefits to the pre-workout - my energy dips a lot quicker when caffeine is the only stimulant. I imagine the Beta Alanine and other ingredients in the Pre sustain the energy for longer.
