Something interesting to keep an eye on for brahs that regularly lift... If you find that you seem to be having a real hard time getting up but don't seem to be getting any less sleep, it could be that you need to deload. I noticed last 2 weeks I've steadily felt more lethargic and just totally not motivated to go lift. Forced myself to go everyday though just because I've built up such a strong habit of never missing a day.
Then finally decided I needed to deload. Been deloading since last Wednesday. Today I have an insane rush of motivation and energy and woke up so much easier than all last week.
So consider the impact of CNS fatigue when it comes to making it more difficult for you to wake up, and deload if you haven't deloaded in the last 4-8 weeks.

Well one step at a time. I'd start building small things into your morning routine. Meditate for 5 minutes. Read for 15. Do push-ups and pull-ups for 3 minutes. Then over time that will develop into a habit that you can push-out further. Just like building the habit of waking up in small steps.

i usually wake up in time to get to uni so wake up, get ready, take the bus.
woke up at 5:10 today which is probably the earliest i have woken up this year and let me tell you, its like life on easy mode:
-catch an empty bus
-bus is fast due to no traffic
-get to empty gym
-use clean facilities
-go shopping in empty supermarket
currently on the bus to uni so by 1 pm i will have most of my chores done.
i didnt even realise how many benefits there is to waking up so earlyJenova's Witness

In on this thread yet again.
have to be at work at 8 am now and it's about an hour commute. Also love lifting only in the morning, if I lift when I get back from work it's phucking packed and depressing.
So plan is:
wake up 5:00 am (shower, eat breakfast)
get to gym at 6:00am
finish up at around 7am
get to work by 8am

I used to be really into self-improvement, I guess it was because I hated where i was in life (wasn't living up to my potential).
But then, I entered into a relationship with this girl and for the last year ive been out of the self-improvement game, was finally content. Now we broke up and I realize that I've been an idiot and I should've carried on.

Same brah, I let a relationship knock me off of my self-development habits. Now it's game time!
Interesting seeing this thread - now I'm getting up at 0530 everyday, exercising, meditating, setting goals, visualizing, out the door before 8 everyday. Makes for an awesome start to the day.11B, NASM CPT, CFL1

Wake up @0500 for gym before work....even though work isn't until 0900.
Also, do you brahs feel weaker in the am rather than at night? Just wondering if it's just my body.*closet narcissist crew*
