Well I was on the fence about giving MMA a go before, but after this weekends cards I'm definitely getting my foot in the water.
Unbelievable group of fights. Every one was stellar.
Something I noticed though is that on the PPV; every fighter who won, was bleeding. Every single one from what I can remember.
It was like we were all witnesses to a great blood sacrifice.
Even Robbie seemed like he was a step behind the Bloody Rory until he accepted blood himself lol.
Anyways.. Amazing card, I hope we get more of this intensity as the cards keep coming.Boomer Sooner

its completely retarded to suggest Aldo is scared of McConor. Only his fans are this retarded to say it.
BRB spending thousands on the camp just to pull out a couple weeks before the fight because im scared whilst conor gets his camp tab picked up by UFC (conflict of interest)
conor fans will tell you a completely different version of events conor suposedly crushed Mendez.napoli 'tu sei nu cosa grande'

This place has been busy lately. I have had too much going on to be around in the aftermath much but what a great night of fights that was. Rory was the biggest surprise for me.
As far as Conor, he did well to survive but it is amazing how far people are taking that fight. The dude survived using skill yes but he basically just survived and capitalized on a gassed Chad. It took him almost two full rounds to finish a gassed chad who had a short training camp.
Aldo KO'd chad at the end of the first, when he had a full camp. Chad was lucky the round ended and was able to recover.
I am not a hater. I am not bashing Conor or his win or his fans with this. I am just trying to be realistic. His fight with Aldo will be fuking awesome. I cannot wait. He did great to beat Chad. Can't take anything away. His striking is legit. Let's just not make more of it than it was. He survived Chad and his fans should be happy and excited. But it will take more than that to beat a full camp Aldo, just being realistic.

I did say he used skill. He survived using skill. Conor fans talk about him like he is some world beater and those who don't like him are completely disregarding a good win against a great opponent. Say what you will but surviving Chad the way he did won't beat Aldo.
I picked Conor to beat Chad before the fight and to be honest, am more convinced now than I was before that Aldo beats him.

Yes and I believe one of those spinning back kicks is what did it for Mendes and caused him to gas.
Ppl on here act like body shots don't make someone gassed.
Conor picked him apart great just needs to keep it up and work on his ground game.
And lol at the guy who said Aldo would GNP McGregor. Yea fuking right.Forgot to train biceps crew

Conor pulled out a second round tko against the number 1 FW under Jose, there is no denying his talent and striking prowess. I would also argue that if he plans on being a champ and staying champ for awhile he is going to need to work on that ground game or eventually he will get caught and subb'd.
If Conor improves his ground game he will be around for awhile picking people off.
