Just want to vent.
So my GF and I are sitting at Chili's restaurant and are having Chicken salads. (She is very engaged with my lifting and loves it). She is 120 at 5'3 Skinny....so I'm working on losing my pouch of a tummy. So I say...I think I'm losing weight (I weigh maybe once a month if I remember) because my panties are getting really lose. She responds with: "Are you sure you're losing weight? Maybe you stretched out your panties in the washer." I was like what the hell??????? And she couldn't understand why I was upset.

Yeah I was trying to explain why that was mean and she just didn't get it. I swear! LOL I should put some extra small panties in her drawer and when she comments that she cant fit in them, I'll say guess either you gained weight or you shrunk them in the dryer!

LOL - my GF's husband (since deceased) had gained a little weight, he blamed his undies being too tight on the dryer shrinking them.
Sorry your GF didn't realize........she surely wasn't thinking about what she was saying.

Its just practical joke time...she is going to get some little girl panties and I'm gonna crack up when she cant fit into them! Hahahaha
yeah jeans shrink in the drawer....panties don't stretch in the washer....what the hell lol
I hate weighing cause it varies with water retention, food intake, bathroom trips...haha etc.

Yeesh. Even if a friend of mine said she thought she was losing weight and I couldn't see it I'd still say "that's great". I can't believe she couldn't get why it bothered you. Must be some sort of jealousy or insecurity thing going on.
