The netcode for PC is an abomination. It hangs every 3 games (and I end up having to restart the game), making it virtually unplayable. It's a shame though because offline mode is great. Runs smoothly at 60fps with minimal frame rate drop. Graphics are top and inputs feel really responsive.

I have yet to play an online match that isn't laggy as hell. Unplayable online.

I was in the lab with Cassie Cage for like 5 hours last night. Really enjoying this game.

The online on consoles is playable but still has bad lag and input delay issues, and I have good internet connection.

It's a shame because the game itself is amazing and a lot of care was put into making it but the bad lag and net coding kind of ruin it.

Bought it last night on PC , runs fantastic games awesome! As for Online, when I tried to play on an an Unranked match it was so laggy i could barely choose my character and the other play kept quitting.

Whereas Ranked matches seemed to be working fine, bare in mind I lost all 3 fights lmao pissing online combo nerds

I've purchased the game for the PC, but i'll be torrenting the jason DLC until they decide to pull their fingers out and fix the multiplayer.

£40 for a multiplayer game that doesn't work in multiplayer is abysmal.

Jason is really fun to play, easy to figure out good combos all by yourself.
Got a few good ones going so far, Liking slasher the most right now.

WTF is with the ranked online mode. All i get is guys with 90% winrates who can consistently do 40% combos on me. It's annoying, im not that good yet but it keeps pairing me with these guys.

For me, it's not that they're doing these auto-dial combos that cause me to lose.. it's that the input and lag delay is bad and I can't react to them properly. On a few occasions I've just given up and let them win and it makes me wonder if the delay is only on my end because they're able to do these combos without error.


I'm going to download Jason tonight because I got the ridiculously overpriced 90$ premium digital download pack and sort of regretting it.

I don't really care for Predator though and I'm baffled why they are releasing Tanya as a DLC character because there are dozens of others more deserving and popular than her. She's never been interesting.

I don't really care for Fujin much either but I suppose Smoke, Jade, Baraka, Shang Tsung, Kabal or Sheeva. I'm almost positive Baraka and Rain will be DLC since you can fight them in the story though but I think it's just a way for them to weasel out more money from fans.

Tanya to me just never seemed to have much of a personality and she doesn't even develop her character much in the story other than following Mileena and Rain around. I feel like the only reason they threw her in is because they want more females on the roster and Kitana already has Jade's staff.

Try to disable 'Release Check', which essentially turns on something called negative edge. What this means, for those of you that aren't aficionados in the fighting game space, is that when you're releasing buttons, they're being registered as an input – and that means that your kombos may not work properly.

I will try it but I'm not sure how much it will help.

The one thing I like about MK:X is actually shows your ping rating, and mines is good. Most other people though I see online have really bad internet from what it's telling me but the game requires so much precision and timing to react and defend yourself so slight delays and lag really hurt you. Usually I can adjust to games that have lag but it's so fast paced that I don't know if it's possible. Killer Instinct for XBOX one doesn't suffer from these problems.

I haven't given up on it yet though because I really do enjoy the game.

Death in these games doesn't even mean much though as far as a character coming back. Shinnok died in MK 4, Baraka has died, Sindel has died, Jax has died, Goro has died..There is always some way they end up coming back.

In Mileena's case, I'd guess they'd say that there are tons of Mileena clones roaming around outworld or something.
