Stay safe brah.
From my friends and families experiences things don't sound like they'll change after marriage. Most say it's stays the same.
But holy hell just wait til you have a kid. They say that's when your life becomes totally different and for many when the problems started coming. You'll no longer be the most important thing in her life. Your thoughts, feelings, and opinions all come a far 2nd place to her perceived thoughts and ideas for the kid. That poker night you go to on Tuesday nights with the boys will start becoming a point of resentment since you're not putting in the same time and energy to the kid that she is. Then if you divorce that awesome chick that was your best friend will rape you in court in favor of the kid.
Not against marriage crew
But not having kids crew

getting marriage license @ city hall in a week, very discreet, only wife and her best friend and my parents will be there
in one year will renew vows and have the whole big thing, and a 3 day cruise honeymoon
just feels right having her in my family now, and i don't feel the need to have a huge costly event to impress people i hate because its "just what you do"You don't need a reason to help people.
RIP Zyzz & Greg Plitt, my two biggest inspirations.

What's with the people bashing him for getting married? Not cool guys.
Marriage isn't for everyone and people shouldn't get married by default just because society expects them to. However, if someone chooses to get married because that's what will make them happy then they should.
Congrats OP. I hope you and your soon-to-be-wife enjoy many happy years together.

You married a successful women, that means she has options so you must be presenting something pretty valuable too. You seem level headed, good luck and hopefully you can have a family and stay together.

She would probably be disturbed if she had to read the nitty gritty details like in the story thread but she is aware of all of it, I was pretty upfront early in our relationship about how fcked up my past was.
She has heard alot of the stories, but obviously reading them in detail would probably upset her.
