From Rob Riches' IG / ********:
"Last night I learned the terrible news that Fitness legend Greg Plitt was no longer with us after losing his life in what seems to be a tragic and freak accident. While I do not want to go into to details about what may have happened, I do want to celebrate Greg and everything he has done for the fitness industry and beyond.
Often referred to as 'The Top Fitness Model' (including by myself), Greg was more than just a model (and an actor), and while he was often known for his onscreen personality, few knew of his personality and character away from this. I had been fortunate to have met Greg soon after I came to Cali almost 8 years ago, and since then had been to his home, met his parents, and been introduced to his friends and family away from the fitness life.
The world has not just lost a fitness icon, it has lost a true legend, a man who put his heart and sole into doing what he loves - in everything he does. My thoughts goes out to his family and loved ones at this terrible and tragic time.
I urge you all to comment below on the reasons why you followed Greg, what he inspired in you, any times that you had met him, and quotes and one-liners that motivated and kept you going.
(Pic from an interview I did with Greg at the Mr. Olympia back in 2011, which can be found on YouTube)."

I've been watching his videos, and I'm not gonna lie, he seemed a little full of himself. However I didn't know him personally, maybe he was a great guy, maybe he was a cocky a**hole, I have no idea, but either way, Idk if he was Christian or not, but I already prayed to God to please let him go to Heaven if it's meant to be

re
I was just watching his video yesterday about death as a motivation. Dude is by far one of best motivational speakers of today, a true legend.
Saw a comment on the burbank thread of someone who saw what happened.
"I was on the train that struck and killed the man today January 17 2015 in Burbank. I saw everything that happened. The poor guys was what it looked like was filming on the track with a female friend and another male when the train approach them the man tryed to leep out of the way when he lost his footing and stumbled he had a camcorder in his hand. All that keeps running through my head is the girl with her hands over her face like omg omg omg and pink for some reason i keep seeing pink i dont remember if she had on pink. Im so sorry may you rest in peace."
